I was forced to upgrade from the original Roku stick that came with my TV in order to continue receiving HBO NOW. This was the easiest and most economical way to do that. My only regret is that it doesn't work with the original TV remote.

I purchased this ROKU because of the improved WiFi capability. My old ROKU express could only receive 10 -16 Mbps in the back bedroom of my house, this new streaming stick gets 35-50 Mbps. Well worth the cost of the upgrade! No more buffering!

Purchasing through Best Buy went smoothly, and the curbside pickup was effortless on our part. Too bad we purchased the Roku Streaming Stick, at the suggestion of our cable provider, to find that our cable provider stopped their streaming service via Roku. We do not need this Roku product for any other reason. Need to now buy another product to stream our cable service.

It works well i have no issues with this item. I think it works better than the ultra as that one seems to have instances were the signal is weak, giving a blurry image where as this one has always given a crisp image( its connetwcted to my tv in the garage)

This is my third Roku but the first time to try a streaming stick. It works great...just like the prior two Roku Premiere Plus. But the part I really like is the updated remote features like the ability to turn on the TV and control the volume. The ONLY reason I did't give it 5 stars is that if they had just included an input selector I wouldn't need my tv remote at all. That would've been perfect for our situation. Great product.

I have other Rokus and love them. The only downside with this one is depending on where your HDMI inputs are this can hit things as it is pretty long and plugs right into the HDMI port. They do let you "purchase" an HDMI extender though for free which is nice

The ROKU STICK is a great device as long as you have an HDMI input on the TV. THE VOICE ACTIVATION is well worth tne few extra bucks. I sent my satelite service packing. My phone and internet was through AT&T.

Hooked it up to an older Toshiba Regza, plasma big screen TV from back in the day and it works/looks beautiful. Really happy with it. It turns this into a ‘smart tv’ now and this older TV is as good as it’s ever been!!

Only problem is remote just quits working (I own 2 of this model Roku) and 4 other models. Then have to unplug Roku (which sucks for TVs mounted to walls with hidden wires) to reset it, and possibly even re-synch remote with Roku. I like the idea that the remote has voice activation and controls my TV but it has problems, plus I =like 4k..if it works.

Easy set up. Remote is light and easy to hold. Menu is very simple and easy to see.

This is awesome and I wish I got it sooner. The cable company was unable to run cable to my upstairs. I can use this with their app and watch all of my cable. It is not really close to my wi-fi and still works great. I love the speak search feature. I love it all really.

It can do a lot including recognizing my wireless Samsung Dex which is surprising because my expensive Sony x950h can't do this. I love the feature that you can listen to the sound output on your phone with your wireless headphones.

After approximately a month, the device that I purchased (with the Amazon logo) started malfunctioning. There was some issue with the data (load?). Anyway, Roku turned-out to be what I was looking for. I've had no problems with the service (besides finding the channels that I subscribed to with the other device). . . . I hope that I don't regret posting this personal endorsement.

Its not bad if you don't have a TV with the apps . It's in 4k which helps

Purchased to be used on auxiliary TV’s when cable company started going full digital and required converter box (and fee). Works great since my cable provider provides full streaming to the Roko synched to my router and cable subscription.

I purchased this product for the Spectrum app. With this app, I can place a TV literally anywhere within range of my WIFI and have a 4K picture.. And all of the other apps give you TV that you can choose to use as you wish..Great picture as well...
