I had previously tried streaming DVD players with limited success due to distance. This device did the trick using wireless AC. And the apps stay up to date. I recommend letting TVs be TVs and DVD players be DVD players. Buy a ROKU if you want streaming.

I have this and a Amazon Firestick, but if I had to choose one I would go with the Roku. The fact that it now has the Apple TV and Prime Video apps available on it just puts it over the top for me.

This is my first exposure to streaming. Roku and its Streaming Stick is a good product. My biggest complaint is the remote, and the way it is laid out. With the volume and mute buttons on the same side of the control, it is easy to "mute" when you are trying to change the volume. It would be nice if Roku had a button to allow you to go back to the last previous channel you were watching.

Roku Streaming Stick+ is my first streaming device normally I would just use the apps on my tv but they are no longer supported. The HDMI and USB connectors make it somewhat difficult to plug in making it hard always get the Roku remote to work with the streaming stick other than that it's a great Streaming Stick.

I bought four of them to replace some of the comcast boxes in my house. It saved us $5 a month for each device. They work great! The only drawback is when using it with comcast, you can't record a show (you can watch recorded shows) and you can't go direct to a channel or use voice control to a channel. So, we kept the comcast boxes on the two main TV's and use these on ones we don't use as much

Wonderful. Allows me to watch programs that would not be available without the stick and I can watch them on my tv rather then my tiny phone screen. Really like it and would recommend it to others.

Great devise . I did not want to get into paying for so many useless channels that cable will deliver . I can pay for what I want to watch. It could use a better range . But overall a good device . I have three of them.

We use Spectrum but instead of paying monthly for one of their boxes for each tv, we use a Roku stick and use the Spectrum app on there....plus all the other great free and paid apps you can use on any tv with an HDMI port.

The Roku is an awesome product. I had no idea how much better the TV experience could be until I "cut the cord" and bought a Roku - and of course added some streaming services. The software interface is so user friendly even a caveman could operate it!

Bought this for my mom and she loves it. We bought her a TV before the era of smart TVs and she needed one. We had to buy another Roku due to the first going out (which she had for a while) and she uses it everyday.

I’m a big fan of Roku devices and this is my third one. Have the 1 and 2, both still work fine, but now that I subscribe to YouTube tv I needed one that can have the app natively. This one does and works great. Loads fast, great image quality, all good so far.

Easy to set up and and easy to use. My little grandson loves it.

We Returned our two basic CATV digital converter boxes back to are local CATV company and now we are saving over $20 on are CATV monthly bill. All we had to do is down load our local CATV Companies app on Roku. Now we get their basic CATV Channels with out the rental of their converter boxes. You need to make sure Roku will support your local CATV companies basic channel line-up app.

Easy to set up, easy to use. Still learning some of what we can do with it.

The Roku stick works great. It's in my basement and my wifi is located upstairs. Great signal strength. I like the menu and the free options included. I recommend this if you need a streaming or smart tv option.

Had problems with the built in WiFi on my LG TV, so installed a Roku Stick and no problems since. Get the one with the TV controls and now I can control and watch my LG TV with just one remote. A huge plus for just $10 more.

I own several Roku sticks..I like this one because I don't have to plug it into an outlet to power it as I use a USB port on TV. It has all the features I needed and it saved my having a rent an additional cable box through Xfinity.

The Best Buy rep was very helpful in explaining the difference of the different Roku sticks and helped me pick out the one for my use. With his instructions it was very easy to get it up and running.
