Amazon no longer supports most of my older devices and I figured they would be less likely to drop support for roku.

What I love about this device is the USB port that can go directly to the device. Great buy!!

These boot faster than previous models. I notice weirdness with the remote where it takes a while to be recognized after the device boots.

Overheating Issues

Unfortunately, the stick kept overheating and shutting down so I had to return it. Not sure if the product was defective but ended up buying the Roku Express 4K and have not had any issues.

In the future, you may want to try finding a cooler location for your Roku player. For example, avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight, or inside a cabinet (or other enclosed space). Similarly, avoid placing the unit on top of other electronic devices such as cable boxes, routers, or audio/video receivers, as these also tend to emit heat.

It is definitely worth it to get this one verses the lower end stick because it rarely buffers. Love it!!

Works fantastic. Also use with Plex Media Server. Does what it should, great addition to any that isn’t “smart”.
