Great product to have for streaming.

My wife loves it, because now every TV operates the same. We bought the Stick for traveling (once we get to do that again), and it works great.

If you want to watch any local video or cast videos from the internet it becomes an extreme pain to do so.

For example, use Play on Roku to display personal photos and videos. Or use AirPlay to stream movies and videos that you are watching on your Apple device. Screen mirroring will project the entire screen of your phone. And lastly, users can utilize casting to view movies and shows you may have already started watching on your phone.

The only downsides are the shortcomings of the remote. I might have upgraded to the better remote if I knew then what I know now. When you fast forward through a program, it does not show you where you are in the show. You have to guess how far along you are through the commercials.

However before buying this I would consider just buying a new TV with the Roku already installed. Also many people don't know but Roku has a comcast app that can be used to replace any small comcast boxes you have in your house and it works almost just as great. If you have comcast I would definitely look into this.

Having this Roku provides us with the ability to watch so many different shows or movies. Provides endless entertainment.
