    We tried fire sticks because they were cheaper, they were also slower and crashed. Rocky is the way to go.

    Only complaint is you can't load your own software/apps on it easily, but it had the obscures ones I use via a complex way of loading it.

    The only reason I bought this was to be able to install Xfinity stream app. It'll pay for itself in a month considering I don't have to rent and tv boxes from them. I like Chromecast better, but Xfinity only partnered with Roku.

    I bought one because there were some apps that were not built in to my TV. Ever since then, I've bought 3 more for my family as gifts. Really good product but there have been some issues with the remote.

    Roku devices offer great flexibility and wireless performance and make cable virtually obsolete. Video and audio performance is superb. You must change channels one at a time and can't key in numbers to rapidly move around. Hence, only 4 stars.

    I liked the Roku device. My only concern was that I started to get over heating warnings. Putting unit on an HDMI extender did not solve the problem. Returned unit to store
