This roku stick is a replacement for one I bought two years ago, and then gave to my mom when her puck-style roku quit working. I really like it mainly because it will control the TV power and sound, so that I don't have to use other remotes unless I want to use my dvd player. I also like that it is powered by the TV's USB port. It works as it is supposed to. The only drawback was that the batter for the remote needed replacing very quickly. But I have batteries. A good buy.

used it on an older model tv for my kids bedroom. She can watch netflix, youtube, amazon prime etc on it.

I upgraded from an older Roku stick and am very pleasantly surprised with how much better and faster this stick is! The voice feature is wonderful!

User friendly and really worth it for the price. I like how there are channels to watch movies/shows for free.

Wanted to lower my just increased cable bill and thought I'd try the Roku streaming stick. I couldn't believe all of the streaming stations that are out there. I can now lower my cable bill by going to basic cable and returning all of my cable boxes. I could even get rid of my cable completely if I wanted to and may do that once I get used to using the Roku streaming stick. I rated the "Ease of Use" a 4 only because I have more learning to do with it but I'm sure I'd rate it a 5 in the end.

Great for someone that likes unlimited choices. I was hopeful to get the basic xfinity live news channels but it seems to be a test app (bata) for xfinity and out of the millions of channels to access the only one I wanted I cant seem to get my xfinity local news. I returned my tv box to use this and Im also finding that it cuts out. Im considering getting the tv box back so I can watch local news and dont have irritating interruptions with winding and disconnecting.

I purchased this Roku streaming stick on the advice of the salesman. I wanted to discontinue getting satellite service since I wanted to end the increasing monthly charge. The salesman assured me that the streaming stick would be easy to set up, so I took the chance and bought it. I got it going that night and am thrilled with all the options. The next week I got another one to give my daughter and her husband for their anniversary. They love it too and are so happy with all the choices they have with Roku.

Excellent way to make an older tv into a smart tv. Primary reason for purchase was to download the Xfinity Stream beta app so that I can watch live TV with my cable subscription without having a monthly rental charge for a Comcast box! Other apps work just fine. Only con I can think of is that the device gets very hot. One time a warning message was displayed about temperatures getting close to the operating limit.

Although we have two large Samsung Smart TV's, we like navigating the many different streaming services we use easier with the Roku remote than our Samsung remotes. It is also quite nice to use these when we travel or go to our beach condo. This also allowed me to drop my cable service at the beach. I also occasionally use the Roku iPhone app to listen using my Apple AirPods rather than the TV speakers or our surround sound system. This is handy if my wife does not want to watch, too.

Love all my Roku products. Not a 5 because the internet could be a little better, but I'm probably comparing it to my Ultras. Really enjoy the remote. Roku has a fantastic interface and I think you'll dig it.

PLUS: new Quad-core processor; WiFi-6/ac; really does support 4K and DTS Surround Sound (media room+headphones); the ONLY remote I use now, even for cable provider (mine is Spectrum); has voice control (eh); volume+mute buttons. After you remove battery cover/insert new (included) batteries, just aim at your TV, hold that little black recessed button for 3 seconds and VOILA!! you now own a ROKU (one-button remote operated) TV!!

Very easy setup. Picture quality excellent. This is my third one as I expand coverage through my home.
