Each one of them has performed the same way...inconsistently. We bought this one to replace the first because the remote was constantly needing new batteries. It seemed at though the batteries had to be replace monthly, then weekly. The new one has a similar problem with the remote. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. It is really frustrating.

If you are not using private listening with your remote and are still experiencing issues with battery drain, we'd like to recommend an alternative power solution that may help. If the USB cable from your Streaming Stick is currently connected to the USB port on your TV, we would request that you connect the USB cable directly to a wall outlet or power strip.
