Used the ROKU stick to turn our older HDTVs into smart TVs. Now we have all the opportunities to stream. Even use it on our Smart TVs that don’t support certain streaming channels. Stick can be moved from TV to TV, but at this price, we bought 3, one for each TV. Love the voice feature, too. The only drawback is that they don’t have lighted Numbers when using in lower light situations, but once you get used to the remote, you know where the buttons are.

Very easy set up and it is a fast unit. I have a fast Wifi connection so that helps. The roku channel is pretty good as well.

As always Roku doesn't disappoint. Extremely good streaming and nice ability to listen to headphones so won't disturb your spouse.

I have an old 720p TV that is mediocre at best. With the Roku Streaming Stick+ it is now a beautiful TV. The Roku upscales the resolution to 1080p. Also, my other TV’s are all connected to Xfinity cable, but this was not (I just used it for over the air channels). Now I can get all of the Xfinity channels that are available on my other TV’s. This is like getting a brand new TV! Spend the extra few dollars and buy this model instead of the cheaper models, it has a superior connection and a better remote.

other than I don't want multiple remotes for one TV, - I like this Roku stick. I wanted each of our five TV's to be the same interface for the streaming environments and our cable provider. This Ruku does the trick. I also like the face I can purchase other language programming without having to do anything else. SO it worked well for us.. One part of the house is in French the other in Icelandic .. but we cuddle in the middle thanks to our Roku

Works better and faster than firestick, love how clean the home page is, doesn't have 40 apps like the firestick, great for Sling or Psvue.

I ditched cable and went with streaming TV. Cable was too expensive and the provider didn't want to budge at all. After doing some research I decided to go with YouTube TV for my streaming service. This was The Best Decision I've made regarding cable or streaming!!! There are a lot of options on how you stream everything and I did a lot of research as well as purchased a few different options to try out and compare before I bought 7 of them for all of the TV's in the house. The Amazon stick was OK and worked well but I liked the Roku remote better. The volume and mute buttons for the TV controls is on the side of the Roku remote and there are 4 more buttons on the front of the Roku remote that allow you to connect directly with Netflix, Disney +, Hulu, and Sling. I highly recommend Roku for these additional buttons on the front of the remote over the Amazon Stick as the Amazon Stick doesn't have any of those buttons. The Roku will also allow you download different apps on the main page for whatever else you decide to stream and easy connection. You can rearrange the downloaded apps so the ones you use the most are at the top. I also like the obvious up, down, left and right buttons on the Roku remote. The Amazon stick has a circle option and sometimes it's clunky to the feel. The Roku remote is really obvious and doesn't require you to look at the remote before you hit the button. I'm not trying to bash the Amazon Stick, I just really liked the different options of the Roku remote and the streaming capabilities it allows me and my family. I have a Sophmore and a 7th grader. Both are very happy with the Roku remote with no complains and that in itself is a win for my wife and I on top of our approval of the Roku device. If you are on the fence, I highly recommend pulling the trigger with this device.

Amazing little device. I bought this to use with a 75 inch Hisense tv I just purchased. The TV uses android tv but is not really on par when it comes to speed and stability. The Roku picture looks amazing and I prefer their interface. I would recommended this Stick 100% percent. However, the remote is a cause of concern. I’ve replaced the batteries 3 times in 2 weeks. It constantly drains itself in standby. Idk maybe I’ve received a defective remote. For that reason, I give it a 4 out of 5. I’ll be contacting support regarding a replacement remote.

Easy to install, access to more apps then my Firestick, great picture quality. Would definitely buy this again vs. another Firestick.
