I have an Apple TV, chromecast and fire stick and I would choose Roku over all of them. Easy set up, free movies and clean interface.

Bought one for every tv in order to cut cord. Like that they are all integrated through Roku account so that apps I add to one adds to all. It seems more straightforward to operate than Amazon firestick and doesn't have all the promoted material. Still a novice user but it is easy to set up out of the box and operate. Roku channel has a lot of free content. Like that they are portable - can take on vacation and use anywhere.

Bought this to replace 2nd gen Fire TV's for my parents. They love the remote as well as how easy it is to navigate.

Out of the box I went to plug it in. Would not fit because of location of hdmi. I looked in box and there was a note. If it does not fit Roku offered a free adapter. I went to order it and it back ordered. They came back with 3 week delivery. I got it today. I did not wait for it and ordered one off of Amazon because bb was also out. The stick works flawlessly. Still learning which apps I want to add. Picture quality is awesome. Buy one. You will not regret it.

We finally cut the cable and went all streaming. I needed a solution for several TV's in my house, and it needed to be similar for ease of learning for some less technical adapt in my household. It took just a few minutes to set each one up and are good to go out of the box. Pleased with purchase. I did have a slight issue with the remote getting some external interference, Roku support was amazing and send an extension to me in two days.

Love the new Roku 4k! I had a streaming services (I won't name names) that stop support of the processor in my, only 2 year old $1,200 flat screen smart TV! It was a high quality name brand tv! Anyway, they said my only option to continue to use that tv was to get an outside streaming device, such as Roku, fire stick, etc... I've had a Roku that I liked and was only a few years old but could not find the remote. So I decided to spring for this new 4k version and was impressed at how quick and responsive it is to other things I have used. I also like the new features of the power on/off button and volume control button on the remote. And yes they both work flawlessly with your tv. The only thing I've noticed is occasionally to power the TV on I will have to push the power button twice. I think it's because the remote probably has a standby mode to save on battery life and doesn't always wake fast enough to work on the first press but when it doesn't it always works on the second. I was initially upset about having to get this device as I hate needing multiple remotes for my devices. Especially in my bedroom, cluttering up my night stand, as this is for the tv in my bedroom, but since I only use apps on this particular tv, with the new power button and volume button I only need my Roku remote and that's it. They did a good job on this one!

This is my 3rd Roku, and despite being the smallest, it is the most powerful and feature rich! The Streaming Stick plus turns a dumb TV intro a Smart TV in effect. The user interface is very simple and setup was a breeze. I was quickly up and running. On the recommendation of one of the Magnolia technicians, I'm using it to stream cable TV, and numerous other services to an outdoor TV on my back patio. Works Great!

I bought it to use with a new streaming service subscription. Setup was super easy. I was hoping to use the voice input capability with the streaming service, but unfortunately it's not available. Audio/video quality are excellent with my 1080p TV. No AV artifacts at all. The user interface is very responsive. It was nice being able to remove a settop box and associated coax and HDMI cables and replace it with the Roku which is plugged into a rear HDMI port on my TV. The volume/mute buttons on the right side of the remote are accidentally pressed way too easily when handling the remote, which my wife and I find annoying. Could also use page up/down buttons for faster scrolling.

Simple setup. Intuitive operation. Great remote improvements over earlier models. Highly recommend.

WORKS AS ADVERTISED...Wait until it goes on sale though...! Straight forward setup. Use the 5 gigahertz channel for streaming. Best if you get fiber optic into your house. Smoooother....streaming
