Initially worked great, but I was using USB on the TV to power the stick and found out that when the TV was off, the stick was off and the remote battery would drain very quickly. This happened for a while and then I eventually ran out of AAAs so put it on the shelf for a few months. When I went back to the 2 devices, my remotes were no longer paired and I tried to reconnect the remotes but could not. I chatted with support and tried everything they gave me, eventually saying I was a few months out of support and both devices were bad so had to buy new ones. I think I will shop around before I go back to Roku as it is odd that both happen to die? I have had other Roku devices that are still running 8 years later in one case, but these sticks are not the same quality so would avoid them going forward.

If the USB cable from your Streaming Stick is still connected to the USB port on your TV, we would request that you connect the USB cable directly to a wall outlet or power strip.
Additionally, please check for the latest update under your Settings menu as we believe that this has been resolved in our recent release.
As a reminder, if you utilize the private listening feature, this will contribute to shorter battery life. We recommend unplugging your headphones when not in use to help extend the life of the batteries.
