I cut the cable and purchased high speed internet along with purchasing 3 Roku units (1 Ultra and 2 Streaming Sticks+). I put the Ultra on my main TV so that it allows for more buffering when streaming. I put the 2 Streaming Sticks+ units on my other TV's. Now I have the same interface on all TV's. I added Hulu and am still learning the in's and out's of it, but having the Roku front end gives me access to many apps. Would highly recommend Roku as the front end when cutting the cable.

This Roku stick was very easy to install and provided lots of options - love the voice option and mute button.

I have this ROKU stick and I also have the Fire Stick sold by Amazon. Both are good if you want to cut your cable tv bill!! I must say i prefer the Roku because the screen is easier to navigate and the remote to me is a little more user friendly. I purchased this because HBO Maxx is available on ROKU and not on the firestick. Currently I have removed the firestick from my TV - that is how much I prefer this ROKU stick!

Roku streaming stick was extremely simple to install and setup. I have it mounted directly BEHIND my TV and it is not visible at all. The wireless remote and connection works perfectly in this configuration which is why I purchased this version, I did not want to be required to have line-of-site as my TV is mounted on the wall. This received the WiFi signal from my router and NEVER has "buffered" while my TV and Playstation both do.

Great device. Maintains wifi well. Easy to configure. Remembers login info well.Easily ported between 4k and non 4k tv.

When it comes to technology, I know enough to get buy and maybe more than others, but still lack a lot of knowledge. I was one of those that was afraid to cut the cord. When my Dish contract expired, I did not want to renew it because of the 2 year contract. The Roku was recommended to me and it has been great! I can subscribe to channel services I want and cancel them at anytime. Plus Roku offers a lot of free programing as well. Highly recommend this product.

The best purchase we could have made. Reduced our cable bill by not having to buy a box from our cable company. Paid for itself in 3 months. There is an adjustment in the time it takes to get your channels to display compared to cable, however once you adjust and learn how it works, it’s worth the money you are saving. As a novice to streaming, and time to do some research, I may find I am not using this device to it’s potential.

Love our Roku. Plug and play. Gave multiple TV’s streaming. Works great.

Upgraded from a regular streaming stick to the Stick+ 4K with newer 4K TV. Very easy to setup and use.

No cable (Comcast/Xfinity) in the bedroom. I called Comcast, they recommended instead of installing a co-ax outlet on an interior wall, that I purchase Roku and download the Xfinity app. I highly recommend having your laptop in front of you while at the TV installing the Roku. It's pretty intuitive, and you go back and forth from the computer to the TV with prompts for accounts. Streams my Xfinity seamlessly which means I don't have to pay for another cable box!

We bought 2 roku stick+ and installed them for our friends who live in Washington while wevwerevthete visiting. They found them very easy to use and they were happy to know they could take the devices with them when they head south for the winter. These devices are so easy. We learned about them from a friend here in MN and had been using our's for over a year. We had many recommendations for our friends. These are so slick to use when you are thinking about cutting the cable cord.

We love Roku. We have them on all 3 of our TVs. When one of them died we replaced it with the new version. We were happy to note the addition of TV volume and mute functions. It eliminated the need to have our dedicated TV remote out. It also has a voice function, so you can tell Roku the app you want to watch. All this is a neat little stick! Needless to say, we replaced our other 2 Roku sticks with the new version.

Such a great choice. We used to use fire sticks and we switched to Roku. The remote is easier to use, the set up was straight forward and simple, and the quality of the shows/movies are even better.

We watch Direct TV Now - Internet app for cable tv, but my smart tv is not so smart for the app, DVD Blueray not so smart for the app, this Roku is a step up from my old Roku that did not have the app (6 years back). This one is bad to the bone. We have it in the bedroom. Turns on and off the tv, runs the volume and all around my internet tv options, even has an impressive voice search engine. But the best is one remote! No trying to find the original remote to turn the tv off or play with the volume. It is great.

We decided to cut cable as the price was going up again. Met with Best Buy staff to review alternatives, and the Roku options seemed like the best, and there were no monthly costs. After the first one that I bought, have bought another one as it is a great way to watch all of your shows, access great movies, stays current with new shows, and there are NO monthly costs.. Easy to use, which makes everyone happy, even non-tech people...

Recently purchased a new smart tv, but it didn't have the Roku OS built in. Tried getting on without it, but have gotten so used to Roku that I had to go get a stick for this one. This is my first Streaming Stick+. The wireless range is excellent, and the 4k is as good as is claimed to be. Everything else great about Roku is present as well. The only (small) nitpick is that that advanced wireless adapter adds a little bulk to the back of the TV, but not enough to deduct a star.

Works well! Used on a projector and my 4k Sony TV. Roku is always easy to use! Really thin.
