But, could never get the remote to pair. First unit, remote wouldn't pair. Contacted Roku support and went through all their troubleshooting steps. Finally they said the remote was defective. Got a new remote, that one had exact same problem--wouldn't pair. Contacted Roku support again and went through all the same troubleshooting steps. Finally they said the stick must be bad and advised that I should return it. Returned for a new one. Same problem, remote won't pair. Contacted Roku support again and went through all the troubleshooting steps again. Finally they said the stick was defective and I should return it. I will return it but will not be trying a third one. Seems to be something inherently wrong with these devices.

Posted .Hi there, thanks for you feedback. It’s possible that the Roku device picked up the wrong code for your TV upon setup. It is also possible that your remote was attempting to pair with another Roku device within the household. If you have any other Roku devices in your home, we recommend unplugging them while you work on getting your new device paired.
