Intersting way to stream British TV

Picture quality is excellent, sound controls somewhat inconvenient on the side of the remote. Sometimes hard to go back a menu, but will probably learn how it works better. Biggest problem is that many of the premium channels require you to sign on with your cable provider. If you do not have cable there is no way to get these channels. I cannot pay Roku for them. And if I had cable then I would not need the Roku at all. So it is inconsistent in what it can provide me. Also it uses RF, not infrared for control so it will not work with my Harmony all in one remote.

Picture = flawless. Delivery = on time and courteous. The only flaw in the entire experience is that the remote control had something lose inside so we needed to replace it. Contacted the manufacturer and they're sending a new one. Can't ask for better than that. Thank you Best Buy!!!

Cross service searching is the best

Best feature of Roku is that you can search for a movie and you will get results from all the streaming services you are on, and it will tell you if it is included with your subscription or if it is available to rent or buy. I don't have to hunt through 20 streaming services.

The Roku seems to have the best all around choice of streaming services for small inexpensive device. My main router, a Netgear Nighthawk R7000, is in the living room and the Roku gets a good signal two rooms away. Impressive for a small device on the back of the TV. Speed is good too, that is, the speed it takes from when you click a service, to when you're browsing the videos. I highly recommend.
