DOES NOT WORK WELL WITH TCL ROKU TV

With power cable plugged into a surge strip it will not work at alll It may work once Roku sends the extension adapter for the HDMI port.They should include it if they know it is an issue

I already have an Apple TV, so I wanted to see if Roku offered additional services for me, being a cord-cutter and all. While it does have some additional channels that are good, it requires frequent exiting of the apps then restarting them to continue watching something. I thought it was just me, but after asking other people, theirs does the same thing. Several times I have gotten a double screen when exiting an app. This has required the Roku to restart. As it stands, if cost for a device does not come into play, I can't recommend Roku. My Apple TV has been almost flawless, so it is what I would have to recommend. BUT, for $40 or so, if you need to save some money and don't mind the problems, then go with Roku.
