    It works well most of the time. My biggest complaints are that it's connection to the internet is not consistent and sometimes it takes a little while for it to recognize the remote when firing up the TV. Would be 5 stars if I didn't keep on running into those two issues.

    This needs to be restarted constantly. The volume often doesn't work -- as in there is no volume coming from the TV or there is static. (It's definitely the Roku, not the TV.) I use the device to access Comcast and find the interface to be even worse than that offered my Comcast's cable box. Generally, the functionality of the Roku is extremely slow and glitchy. I end up in apps that I didn't click on, and once in those apps, the menu takes forever to load. Shockingly, there has been no issue with actual streaming. Getting there though makes me feel like I have dial-up.

    Worked great for about 11 months. Then stopped working. Appears to be the remote, but cannot get any support from rump. I have tried everything suggested on their web site. I can’t tell if it the remote that needs to be replaced. I had originally gone into the store to purchase the newest Apple TV, but my salesperson talked me into Roku instead because of price. Now I’m going to pay more since the roku doesn’t work. Should have stuck with Apple as the always work well and they also provide great support.

    The battery’s in the remote die in one week I thought it was some bad battery but I have went through about 10 at this time. So I’m thinking it has something to do with the remote.

    Roku with Xfinity Did Not Work

    Tried to use Roku Stick with Comcast’s Xfinity, but it was slow to respond. It also difficult to use because of the need to use two controls. I was hopeful the Stick would save me from having to rent the Xfinity box, but no such luck. Returned the Stick.
