I bought Roku for the Spectrum App access for my cable TV. It works only if close to the wireless router. When I had to move the router to the 2nd floor the 1st floor Roku worked poorly.

The stick works well and responds fast. The bad part is the remote goes through brand name batteries in just a few days. This is a well known problem with these and Roku is sending a new remote.

I'm sure this would work fine. However I couldn't use it because the remote kept operating my Roku tv in another room, and not the device the remote came with. So I had to return it.

When it works, it works like a champ on my system at 100 mbps and strong signal. The problem is that I have up to 50 interruptions an hour during some hours, none in other hours. I can't figure out if it is xfinity, DirectTVNow, or the Roku.

We purchased the Roku in order to cut expenses of cable. Using WiFi for this depends on your carrier - ours tends to “lock up” due to amount of people on the WiFi signal, usually in the evening. Other than that, it’s great.

This model of stick directly plug into TV.s HDMI port. With power supply to the stick sitting on the side, I won't be able to use on my older TV otherwise It worked very well with my newer TV.

I like using Roku products and this one worked for a while. However, the remote control was always on the fritz. I probably should have called service, but I just quit using it and bought a more expensive Roku Ultra.

i played with it for a while and gave up. As far as i can tell I could not find live news. Everything seems to be prerecorded which is fine for all other programs, dont care if i watch a week old show.

I love my Roku but the remote is almost too small. It’s very easy to misplace or send flying across the room. It’s also a very smooth so it falls all the time. Aside from that it’s a good remote.

Works fine but is kind of long.if you plan to mount your tv and if the hdmi port is perpendicular to the screen it might not work because it sticks out too much. Good for parallel hdmi ports

Although I love Roku, & haven't had problems in the past, this remote sometimes don't want to work. I think it's just this particular one because the others work fine.

When we turn the system on the remote always takes about 5 minutes before it can actually be used. We have tried resetting a number of times and ever purchasing a new unit, it seems like it is a flaw in the start up process.

I have roku's throughout my home. I got a stock just to save from having wires hand down. I had a lot of freezes during shows and the remote had some issues. I just stick with the roku box. Good concept. Needs work.

It started ok, then the signal from the remote started failing, then the usb from the tv wasn't enough power to upload the stick. I will never buy this again, rather stick with the box.

I’m sure it’s a great product; however, I needed a remote that works with YouTubeTV. I have a new LG OLED TV and have a surround sound and receiver. This remote does not work with YouTubeTV.

Although the device touts itself as delivering high speed streaming, it fails to live up to its promise no matter what I do. It is not a failure of my wifi setup; it is a failure of the Roku to pick up the signal.

This device seems underpowered for 2021. It seems to glitch on live tv apps such as AT&T tv. I would get the Ultra if you want to use this for live tv streaming apps.

Good Firestick that I purchased on the After Thanksgiving sale. It's definitely an Amazon product as they interface constantly has Amazon ads and pushed Amazon. Not as ease of use as the Roku Firestick.

3.5 star. Roku has been a go to of mine for years, but this 4k version has had a lot of hiccups. It seems to be working ok now, but when we first got it it would go through periods of time simply not turning on.

Does not support YouTubeTV at this time so I returned it. Fix the conflict with YouTubeTV and I give this 4 stars. I like my other ROKU almost as much as my AppleTV.
