    We purchased this solely for the purpose of watching live TV. It does that fine. I do wish we could just use the Tv remote instead of having to keep up with another remote.

    Have had for about a month. One of the remotes had to be reconnected already and the other one is having issues with the volume button where it “holds down” the volume button.

    I bought the this version because they said it was better for the HD but if you have an HD TV and a $20 Roku does the same exact thing. I tried to return but they wouldn’t take it back

    It worked great for one year, but It looks like it’s an annual purchase. I bought it in 2020, & by July 2021, the remote doesn’t work. I tried troubleshooting and resetting but it works sporadically by taking out the batteries & putting them in again. The warranty is one year so I got my one year use. It’s annoying not being able to have one electronic nowadays that still works after a year or past its warranty.

    Call me spoiled but I prefer AppleTv. We use the Roku on our garage tv and it is very slow.

    I have issues with the stick. I don’t have any problems with the Roku boxes but the Roku stick sometimes doesn’t work which sucks bc it cost about twice the price of the Roku box.

    This was the seventh Roku device I've purchased and it loses the sound and has to be rebooted. I've only had it two weeks. There's the Roku click sound when you click the remote, it lost the sound from the video stream. The cure on the internet is to reboot the Roku, but why shouldn't it work perfectly. Unfortunately Best Buy has a shorter return window than the other online sources so I'll complain to Roku and avoid Best Buy in the future.

    While this is secretly hidden behind the TV without any wires showing, it only receives a "fair" signal from my Netgear. Good enough to stream but disappointed none-the-less.

    The product works as advertised but with no ability to plug-in a channel number. It is cumbersome to get from channel 100 say to channel 400.

    Bought 2 devices three months ago. Both worked well. One stopped working completely and was then exchanged effortlessly at store. Will watch for longevity of product.

    Love Roku. Have them on all of my TVs. Even the smart TVs, but this Roku was questionable. The remote was spotty. Returned it to purchase the Roku Ultra.

    Does a good job of presenting the various channels - Netflix, etc. but the remote makes it difficult to manage the Spectrum App. Change scroll and change channels...

    The remote is not user friendly. In a dark room there are too many buttons which are close together. Perhaps, if they were back lit, this would solve the problem.

    Device works fine but the remote drains batteries to the tune of having to change them weekly! Contacting Roku is pointless because all they say is they are aware of the issue and their engineering team is working on it. Google the problem and you will find that their engineering team has apparently been “working” on it for quite some time.

    We moved into a different house and the available cable was not where the TV went so we tried this Roku, the remote is difficult and lacks any normal features.

    Roku works but it’s not very sturdy. I bought a new unit when my old unit was just 15 months old. That should not happen.
