Tired of constant and ridiculous cable TV rate increases so I dropped everything but internet service and bought this ROKU device. Wish I had done it sooner! Set up was simple and quick. The amount of programming, even if you choose only the free applications, is outstanding. Works like a dream. Have not had a single glitch since day one. Plenty to watch and I am saving about $140 a month. No regrets!

Owned rokus for several years, get easier to use and smaller/better control in the hand feel.

This is the future of TV. With a few subscriptions like Live Streaming TV, Movies - there's no need for Cable service or DVD discs (& Player). Make sure you spring the extra money for the one with the TV Controls. This allows you to pair the Roku Remote to your TV so you can turn it on & off as well as control volume. In other words, allows you to consolidate full control of everything down to one remote.

This works well, and is nice and small and portable. Easy to set up. Will prob buy another for the other TV

We love this ROKU streaming stick! Over the past two years, we've been upgrading various TV's in our house. The remaining TV that hasn't been upgraded yet is in our bedroom. However, since there are no issues with the TV (it is still going strong after seven years), we decided to purchase this ROKU. No issues with install, setup, or operation! We would highly recommend it!

Easy HDMI plug in. There is a power cable to connect to the stick and the cable isn't super long. I like the Roku interface and easy way to configure the order of channels and add/delete channels. Roku search for content across channels is nice to. I installed on an older Samsung smart hub tv where I couldn't add certain streaming channels. I can use the Roku remote to operate the tv power and volume.

Needed to upgrade our outdated Apple TV. The Roku is so much easier to use. Set up is easy and quick.

It was easy to set up. Pop it in, go through the set up process, which you will have to have a computer/mobile phone/tablet around to finish up the set up process. Once you are in, their are many choices to select from. There are some choices you haven't heard of. Negative items: Some of the applications are no longer available even though they are shown as being available. You may select an item, and when you load it, it tells you it is no longer available. We also have had the connection pause while using different applications. We even had to unplug the stick because the Roku froze up.

Had an issue with a recent TV I purchased not allowing me to download new apps to load (specifically the Xfinity streaming app). I was told this Roku was the way to go. It has a very slim design and I was able to install it no problem even with the TV mounted with a flush mount. It was a very simple setup, and once I created my account, it was up and running. Pretty straightforward to guide.

I use this when I travel. A great device for the road, nice and compact. No problems at all with performance.

This was my first experience with a ROKU device. I added it to a Samsung 4K Smart TV that did not have ROKU installed. The installation was very easy - just select the HDMI port to use and plug in the device using the provided USB cable. The device readily found my network and after entering the password, I was up and running. The selection of pre-installed apps from ROKU were good and adding additional services like YouTube TV were straightforward.

The all-in-one remote makes life super easy (no need for multiple remotes). With this stick, no need for multiple remotes anymore. The Roku app works very well. I typically stream Xfinity through the Roku to save the recurring cost of an extra box. Roku also provide access to more free kids shows for streaming beyond Xfinity, so it is a win-win for my family.

Picture quality has been very good with different options for me to watch TV shows and Movies. 4K TV is streaming great which can make things easy when your ready to quit cable and satellite.
