I have to pay $19.99 to start using the device. Which is nonsense since I just paid $39.99 for it. I have three of them in my house and never had to pay to have them activated.

The Roku Stick would not allow me to access You Tube TV. I believe there are contract negotiation between the two companies that has not been settled.

We wanted to let you know that at this time, YouTube TV is available through the YouTube Channel. To access YouTube TV start by going to the YouTube channel on your Roku Streaming Stick+. Once you have opened the YouTube channel you will see a menu on the left hand side. Scroll to the bottom of the left hand menu where you will find YouTube TV. From there you can select YouTube TV to access and stream content using your subscription.

"Free" Roku tech support wanted $99

The tech gave me a story that Roku had changed support and i needed to pay $99 and to add all my sticks to a new account. I wasn't falling for it and just hung up. After the call i tried registration and was successful this time without the "free" tech support.

First thing you get is the dancing R O K U and you wait till finally you can get to the app you want. Sometimes the remote works and a lot of times it doesn't. Not sure how the other streaming devices work, but do not like Roku or streaming.
