    Can’t use stick overheats when plugged into Samsung OLED tv. ROKU sent me an extender cable. Extender. Cable does not work. Too late to return ROKU stick to Best Buy. Stick needs 2 be returned to store—useless. I’m out of $39.00.

      As a reminder, you may want to try finding a cooler location for your Roku player. For example, avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight, or inside a cabinet (or other enclosed space). Similarly, avoid placing the unit on top of other electronic devices such as cable boxes, routers, or audio/video receivers, as these also tend to emit heat.

    After a month the product no longer works. We tried to reset the remote and stick and repaired it. Still nothing. We tried multiple suggestions on online forums and unplugging and replugging as well. It is now past the return period.

    After 3.5 hours of helpline calls with both Roku and xfinity neither could get this to work! Thrown in the junk draw! If you have Xfinity make sure of the return policy before buying a roku product.

    We were told to take out the Xfinity box, put in Roku and do some adjustments. When you try to watch TV you can't change the channel like the Xfinity remote. If I wanted to go from channel 5 to 805 I had to hit the up channel 800 times. Not acceptable...Returned the Roku

    Maybe I'm giving it a bad review cuz I don't really understand what I'm doing. It's kinda hard or time consuming to set up plus you have to give them a credit card number just in case you buy something. That I didn't like.

    Check online for other reviews. I had a similar issue. The system got stock in the initializing screen (bouncing Roku). No matter what I do, i could not manage it’s connectivity to WiFi. Customer Service was useless in multiple occasions. DO NOT BUY.

    I'm sure it would work well, but the seller sold me a unit the TV I bought already had? Very upset, and was refused a return with a receipt? know what you are buying, I have this on another TV, and it works very well with my WIFI!

    Easy to install and use but all that doesn't matter when the picture frequently pauses for 3-5 seconds. I have a strong signal and do not have this problem with other equipment. Returned it for new Roku Ultra that just came out.

    All of a sudden the audio on my TV stopped working, we tried everything to fix it. After considerable effort, we removed the ROKU to discover that the problem was there and I was able to restore sound without the ROKU hook up.

    When trying to install the Roku we received an error with the activation code. A phone # appeared claiming to be Roku but the # was actually a hacker who asked to control our computer. This is a well known problem.

    Fire Stick is more worth the money. You have to spend your money on every little bonus(apps & features) that make this product less regrettable. I have both fire stick and roku. Roku is the low budget fire Stick.

    I purchased it on 01/30/21 to stream my Spectrum channels on another TV... It is written on Roku's web site, that it is possible. But I found that they removed Spectrum TV app in Dec 2020. Had to return

    I am so disappointed with this Roku. I could never get it to work. Also the resources provided on-line to help were difficult to understand and there was no live person that I could talk with to help me.

    This was a 5 minute setup. Just plug it into an HDMI port on your 4K TV. Then plug it into a wall socket. Now you're ready to go. After turning it on it's easy to follow the on screen instructions. Then picture and sound quality is fantastic. Now I am really enjoying my Sony XBR65*930E 4k TV.

    If a product does not last two months, it should be considered junk. Best Buy used to be a reliable store. It now peddles totally worthless junk. Horrible.
