easy to use--user friendly! compact streaming stick=very easy to set up with your tv

switching out all of my Amazon fire sticks with Roku sticks. My primary reason is that Roku allows you to use the spectrum app which I can watch all of my favorite cable channels on. For some reason Amazon fire stick still does not have an app to use for spectrum. Also I love the volume and power buttons already on the remote. Amazon fire sticks makes you purchase the separate sideclick in order to control these things.

I "cut the cord" awhile ago using Roku on our TVs. After a brief learning curve, it's a snap to use. Very user friendly, reliable and cost effective. I use Hulu as my TV interface and couldn't be happier. Saving a lot of money monthly, as compared to past cable bills. Added bonus is that the TV is no longer tied to a dedicated cable box. With Roku, you can place TV wherever you want and no cumbersome wires involved.

I went rogue and got rid of my cable bill. Without knowing what I was doing or if it would work, I purchased the roku sticks. They were extremely easy to install and user friendly. The little stick plugs into the back of the TV (NO CABLES UP THE WALLS) Downloaded the roku app to my cell phone and followed the directions. I NOW HAVE GREAT TV and I don't have to pay hundreds of dollars. THANK YOU

Works a lot better than the previous models that have the ugly box you try to hide. I like the fact that it will work with the 5G. And the remote is great with the tv controls. I've been a diehard fire TV user but I love all the great features and most of all I can download all the apps I use and could not get with the fire tv.

This is my first Roku and I love it so far.Easy to setup and the picture quality is great!

I have other Roku devices, but this one is more advanced than the previous versions of this model. It allows you to turn off and on your tv from the Roku device rather than switching to the tv remote. Only thing that I didn't like was that Amazon was no longer one of the four select buttons. A minor inconvenience, but I got used to it on the other Roku devices. Works well. Easy to set up and use.

I have this on all my tvs, even the smart tvs. I use YouTube tv and Roku makes it so simple. The Roku makes all my different brand tvs work the same. I purchased this one for a LG smart tv. I didn't like the way the menu worked on the tv so by adding the Roku it works the same as all of my other tvs. I recommend Roku to my friends all the time! It usually goes on sale around most holidays.

This Roku turned my bedroom TV into a true entertainment device. With a broken ankle and not much to do, this Roku gave me access to my Spectrum TV service, Amazon Prime video, and standard Hulu. I love that I only need one remote to turn the TV on, control volume, and pick out shows and movies. No extra box sitting on the table. I ironically attached it to a smart TV, now it’s way smarter and faster!

I imagine it'd be a fine only Roku, too, I like the no box thing though still needs a plug. Got a new t.v. kept the ultra roku in living room needed a new roku for my room, this works just fine. I don't care about voice activation but I do like the t.v. controls so I don't need to fumble around with many remotes. Plugs right into the port, straightforward, easy set up.

I purchased this roku to upgrade to the improved 5G wifi ability and faster processor. The unit has met all my expectations, being much faster in everything it does compared to the previous generation of roku's that I've used. I had considered the ultra, but am satisfied with the performance of this Stick+ and I like the compact size of this unit for travel. I would buy this again after having used it for a month now.
