I imagine it'd be a fine only Roku, too, I like the no box thing though still needs a plug. Got a new t.v. kept the ultra roku in living room needed a new roku for my room, this works just fine. I don't care about voice activation but I do like the t.v. controls so I don't need to fumble around with many remotes. Plugs right into the port, straightforward, easy set up.

Roku claims that the "Streaming Stick +" works for TVs far away from a router. I connected my Roku Streaming Stick+ to a bedroom TV located one floor above and around 80 feet away from the router. Performance is much better than the Amazon Fire device that it replaced. There is no delay or loss of video/audio quality. Using the Roku app on my phone, I listen to TV through headphones connected to my phone. This is a great feature.

The product is perfect to watch tv series and live channels. It’s small and easy to used

The Roku Streaming Stick was easy to install and set up. It has all the apps that I use readily available, including Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube TV. I installed Slacker radio from the Roku app store, and that was easy as well. Only one (minor) complaint - there is no mute button on the remote and none of the available universal remotes that work with Roku work with the streaming stick. Overall a very good value.

It works and I get 4K content (where available) with a fairly easy interface.

It's faster than the older roku stick and the voice remote is very useful.

I purchased a Roku Premiere a few years ago and was quite pleased with the product. After I cut cable, I needed a streaming device for my second television. After a little research I settled on the Streaming Stick. I am extremely pleased with the product especially considering it’s price/performance. The remote is great especially when my granddaughter wants me to skip commercials. I can do it from across the other room without having to get up and walk across. I can also use the Roku Application that I have downloaded to my cell phone. I would strongly recommend the product - you won’t be disappointed.

I didnt want to have to buy this but alas hulu did away suddenly with streaming to my blue ray player that's not that old. But since I had to buy it lest be without my shows on hulu, this product works dandy. Set up took a bit of time going online and all but was easy peasy lemon squeezy. Use of the remote is a breeze a cool one not like a hot summer day breeze. Good stuff in a box, a bit pricey considering they have been around awhile. I dont really pass along recommendations to friends so I wont be doing that, they can do their own research, I'm their friend not their personal assistant. Plus why rob them of the opportunity to live and learn like I am!?

I had never even considered ROKU until I spoke to a Best Buy tec. He asked me several questions then recommended it based on our needs. I loved it so much I bought 3 more since I didn't have any smart TV's. We added a live streaming TV service and did away with our cable TV and phone. We now have a better picture and less outages than ever before, plus lowered out cost considerably.

I put aside my cable subscription to try this and along with Netflix and Amazon Prime I have all the TV I need. I'm trying Hulu Live TV as well. There is an issue with Hulu Live TV and Roku. I can stream Hulu on my PC or iPad with minimal or no buffering. Hulu Live on my 65" Bravia TV thru Roku buffers or freezes several times a minute. People aren't happy and are expressing so on social media. The Roku device itself is fine and it offers 4K content.

I love my Roku. I also have had Amazon's Fire Stick and Apple TV. The simplest thing that is great on the Roku over those two is that the remote for the Roku ALSO can turn the TV on and off. Other that that, the content is about the same. There are free movie channels and others you need to subscribe too. You can watch cable channels if you have a subscription as well. Overall, definitely get it to turn your old TV into a smart one.

Since we got a newer TV, we need to upgrade our ROKU. This one is made more for the 4K tv’s and within 5 minutes we had it set up an ready to use. You may have to order the freee extender if it doesn’t work in certain ports, which is what we had to do for it to really put the 4K graphics. We can now take thisROKU stick with white we travel and watch all of our favorite app even if the hotel cable doesn’t have what is appropriate for our kids.

Love the ease of use and 4K picture quality. Definitely worth the price.
