Better than Amazon Fire Stick

Adding stations is so easy my 9yo granddaughter can do it, and no one had to show her how! All my subscription services are available through ROKU, and parental controls are simple to set up. I can add stations from the ROKU device itself, or access my account online and add from there. Thank you ROKU for making TV fun again!

The Best Plug and Play Streaming device

I thought they were good enough for what I was using them for, but the Roku is a much better product. Not only can you access Netflix, Hulu, and Prime content, but the available apps to stream from your mobile device are much more extensive. You can even access Youtube tv (live) thru the Roku interface which is super easy to navigate and setup is a breeze.

Great device...impressive how easy it is to use

Our Samsung smart tv is older so this was necessary. Teamed with Hulu Live we have all our channels at a substantial savings. The remote is really easy to use and controls everything necessary. The only channel we miss is pbs, but with our $60 donation, we can download their app to Roku and see all our PBS programs, only a day or so later.

Made my TV into a Roku tv!

So, I bought the Roku stick. It’s like having a brand new Roku tv now. I can control the volume on my sound bar with the Roku remote which I absolutely love! It truly makes my beautiful tv useful again and just like a Roku tv. I would definitely buy this again

What mom needed for 5 year old LG 4K tv

We have a Roku TCL tv that works great with it. Next, we’re waiting for them to finally make a deal with HBO Max to allow the app on it and we’ll be truly happy customers. Now if only there was a way to sign in to each app more simultaneously.

Great and worthwhile purchase

Fast and responsive and picture quality is great. This is on the 2nd floor and probably 100ft from my router which is on the 1st and no noticeable lag. Plus if you are a Comcast customer Roku has the Comcast beta app that lets you get rid of the cable box and that’s a $10 savings per month. It’s a 5 star even without this though.

It downloads every streaming app that I need that I couldn’t get on my first gen Apple TV. The picture shows well on my 10 yr old Panasonic tv and as as my even older Sanyo. I haven’t watched it on any of my new 4K Samsung TVs, bc there’s no for it on there. I do have a little issue sometimes with audio lag (sound doesn’t match the mouth movement). So I have to reset the device often, but it’s usually bc I’ve rewound or fast forwarded a show a bunch of times. I bought it 2 more times after this so it’s def not a deal breaker

It allowed us to use just the one remote for volume and power. Then the wife accidentally washed it with the sheets (remote was in the bedroom and laying in the bed). Still have the Roku that connects to the TV and use the free remote app on our phone. Miss the remote though.
