Gives a great streaming experience!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to improve our streaming experience as the "smart tv" was not doing a great job - getting hang-ups, unwanted pauses, disliked the interface via the tv's remote, etc. With this Roku streaming stick I'm getting a seamless and FAST streaming experience. Love the remote with voice search, no hang-ups, and streaming is SO much faster than before. I give it a thumbs-up.

Makes cutting the cord easy

I've found that using Youtube TV and Roku has made cutting the cord very easy. You can channels either from Roku on your TV or via the web. One negative thing was that the batteries that came with it didn't last long at all.

Love this Roku Streaming Stick

Trust and believe. Although they work for Best Buy, they will not try to sell you something you do not need. However, they will advise what will work best for your equipment. I am so glad I trust Best Buy with my entertainment needs. This was a great choice.

Great alternative to cable TV.

All streaming aps can be attached to the stick, and then take it with you. Add Sling TV, with the basic cable channel options, to this little device and you'll wonder why the switch wasn't done sooner. The ease of navigating the movie and streaming aps is unbelievable. Highly recommend everyone make the switch.

Roku sticks are the BEST

With the addition of new programming available and local stream abilities the idea of not paying through the nose for channels we don't watch, or want to watch, has become a reality in our home!! A GREAT way to save money, and yet still have our enjoyment.

It was by their recommendation that I decided to purchase this Roku streaming option. We are very pleased with the free TV and movie options as well as the additional À la cart specialty apps/channels that can be purchased. The remote is easy to use and very simple to learn.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have numerous generic built-in app smart TVs, Apple TV4k, Roku TVs, Roku Sticks, Google, Amazon, etc. If you are not tied to an ecosystem that is only available on one thing, such as iTunes/AppleTV, Roku is the best universally compatible streaming device you can get. Decide if you want 1080p or 4K and get the Roku that works. They all have the same interface and they all work reliably.

I have 3 now and all work great. Turns your basic TV into a smart TV. Like a big smart phone. Download the apps you want. I find it very intuitive. Add SLING TV and bye bye Comcast etc. (just need internet connection). Save me about $80 a month.

Take a bit to get use to the navigation of the system and the different stations/ channels you can use. Not all channels are free but you can choose. I have the Roku streaming stick upstairs on a regular TV with Comcast Cable and a Roku TV down stairs. Setup is great. Have a lot of choice on what to watch.

I started using it so that my mom didn’t have to struggle or ask for my help if she wants to watch something, and she has no issues using it unassisted. This roku in particular is great because of the 4K comparability. Only downside is price, but you can’t argue with supply and demand.
