This came in real handy. the voice thing is very useful. It can go between apps, pause videos, or go to different apps. It is very fast! It also has shortcuts like the apps on the front and the side buttons which are very easy to click. Highly recommend to anyone.

I think Roku devices are the best streaming devices available the interface is slick and easy to use and setup is simple. The ability to stream 4K movies at such a cheap price makes the Roku a great buy. My family and I stream Netflix, prime, disney+, vudu, sling and Hulu on our Roku stick.

Own two ROKU Express + streaming devices; bought this model to use on LG 4K; easy to set up; like power and volume control on remote. Streaming devices are only way to go to cut the cord and decrease monthly entertainment expenses. Intend to install the replaced ROKU on a third set! Sold on the devices.

Very easy to use and set up even for people who are technologically challenged like me ! Huge selection of applications and the picture quality is great. The remote has voice capability for searches and you can also use it to control some functions on your TV like volume. Very pleased so far.

Bought this to explore cord cutting options and love it so far. Very easy setup on our slightly older Vizio TV. The simple remote is nice and very intuitive. I especially like the quick buttons for Netflix, Hulu and Disney+.

This device made my standard TV into a smart tv for a low price! The device works smoothly and quickly. There are plenty of apps to use, including Netflix and Youtube! The remote works well, but I'm surprised it has a dedicated Playstation button.

Have Roku devices on every TV in the house. So much better and easier than using the smart TV functions or the cable box. Ordered the new streaming stick+ because i wanted to see how well the new remote works. Having the power button and volume on the remote is so much better than the older models. I will slowly be upgrading our whole house from the 2016 Ultra models to the 2017 models for the remote. Not in a hurry, but it is worth it to hide one more remote for good!

This is the arms dealer in the streaming wars. Excellent product that is very simple to use. The streaming quality is top notch, along with the range. The voice control makes searching out that perfect show all too easy. I can’t say enough good things about this product.

I have a few of the Roku devices but his was my first streaming stick.Very simple to install and once setup, it worked exactly the same as the other devices. You just need to make sure you have a spare USB port and you are good to go. Purchased this to replace a cable box in a bedroom. The cable company had a app in Roku so there was no need to continue paying a monthly fee for the cable box and we now get thousands of channels that we did not have with the cable box.

Rokus are by far the easiest to use and have the most content out of all streaming players, I really like how they added voice to this model so you can easily use the remote to voice search for stuff and it seems faster than last years model too!

It does as it says and works well. You need high speed Internet for it to work properly though. Applicably, this is stated right on the Roku box.."Channels can change and vary by country...". This Streaming Stick still provided a multitude of other channels...some duplicating others. Make sure you have a couple of HDMI ports on your TV.. Chances are, if you already have a newer "Smart" TV, with HDMI ports, you will only mostly be duplicating what you already have through the "Smart" application...although I find the Roku faster and the interface easier than my older Samsung "Smart" TV interface...which Samsung no longer offers operating system updates for. The Roku remote connected itself easily to my TV for volume and power control, which is certainly better than having to switch remotes all the time. Overall, the price is right and you get a lot for your buck.

I've had Roku products for years an dperiodically update them. I love them way better than the SmartTV interfaces that come installed on your tv. I have a Roku 3 on my Living Room tv (which is 1 year old and has a SmartTv interface). i had a Roku 2 on my bedroom tv. I decided to upgrade sinc ethey were not providing updates for that anymore. I bought this and love it. You can control volume and power. Very fast and very easy setup and moved over all of my apps.

This is our third Roku streaming device and easily the best. Setup was very easy. This Roku controls the TV on/off and volume and has voice commands built into the remote. If you are looking for an excellent device at an excellent price look no further.

I recently cut the cord completely and went with the Roku. I currently have Firesticks and those work ok, but I wanted to try something different with no affiliations to a particular network. I've had the Roku for about a month and I've had no problems at all with it. The interface is straight forward, the setup was simple. I actually plugged this into the back of the XBox and used the USB port for the power and it worked like a charm. I like the slightly larger remote too. I purchased a bright colored silicone cover for the remote which i recommend because it's much easier to find in the dark than a black remote. The coolest feature is if you want to use headphones to watch tv (like in bed at night), then you can use the Roku app on your phone and listen through your headphone likes normal on there. I totally recommend this if you are looking to cut cords.

Easy to use and setup with volume controls on the side eliminates the control for the tv to change volume. Getting it at the sale price gave me a better unit and ready for 4K when I am ready. Easier to cut the "cable" using Roku devices.

I had to upgrade my ROKU to get 4K UHD when I bought a larger TV from Best Buy. The TV is great and the upgraded ROKU gives me a great 4K picture. The remote is better than the one on my old ROKU. I am very happy with this ROKU stick.

This little Roku device really impressed me, I’ve been a Roku user for 5 years now since I bought my first smart tv with Roku included, ever since I noticed how simple and intuitive the user experience was. I had 5 Apple TV devices in my home and nobody in my family wanted to used them anymore, we all fell that Roku was way more friendly than Apple devices. 5 years later I had to buy this Roku streaming stick for a TV set that didn’t have internet connection, I chose this model because it was capable to control the tv and I didn’t wanted to use two remotes. I was surprised on how simple it was to connect both the device and the remote to my tv, it was incredible how my old tv now was like new. Ever since I bought three more of these little monsters and gave them to my family. Thank you Roku for making it so simple and so good.

I had been looking at these things for quite some time. My goal was to eliminate the silly monthly fee for one of the cable boxes. I hesitated for months because quite frankly, I was confused about which model to buy. Honestly, I was afraid the Charter/Spectrum app would be cumbersome. I like to flip one channel at a time to visually see what's on. A neighbor urged me to get the Ultra, but I was afraid to spend the money on the "best" model if I ended up not liking the operation. I finally figured out the Stick+ model makes it possible to pair the Roku remote with the TV power and sound. I also finally figured out the Stick+ model gives me two power options: 1). You can plug into an USB outlet on the tv to power the Roku OR 2). An included adapter allows you the option to power the Roku by plugging into a wall outlet. As an experiment, I plugged the Roku into a small TV set that we don't use very often that only had a small external Mohu antenna. The Roku worked great using the Spectrum app. Yes, the Roku doesn't change "channels" quite as fast as the cable box, but it's really a very very small issue. The Roku also shows me the cable "guide" and also gives me the ability to go back and forth between two channels (ex: watching two sports games on two different channels at the same time). Essentially, by using the Roku, I now have "cable" service on our bedroom set. Because it also controls the TV power and sound, I don't have to keep two remotes with me! My intention was to use this bedroom set as my experiment and then move the Roku to another room to eliminate the cable box. But since it works so well, I'm keeping the Roku on the bedroom set and ordering a second Roku for a TV that currently has a cable box. My current plan now is to keep only one cable box on our big/main TV and use the Roku on three others in the house. I will be cutting my cable box fees dramatically. We will see over time, if I get used to the small channel change delay on the Roku and be willing to drop the last cable box to save even more money every month.

Bought this as a birthday gift for my dad. Set up was easy. Everything we needed came in the Roku box. Power cord w/optional extension, batteries for the remote and easy to read instructions. The streaming stick+ gave us several free channels to watch with great content. My dad loved the remote! He has a very old flatscreen tv w/ no factory remote. The Roku remote identified his tv and now he has full control over his tv. He can watch sports, news, and movies in the comfort of his bedroom. The Roku mobile app works great with the streaming stick+ and allows him to listen to his streaming shows privately without disturbing mom late at night. My dad now streams, Netflix, Espn+, Disney+, and Hulu by subscription and free westerns, action shows and older tv shows he likes along with sports news. I was so impressed I purchased the Roku Premium streamer for my own home.
