I became interested in a streaming device for my home once my cable company (Spectrum) decided to make a cable box a requirement for all secondary TV's that would result in an additional monthly fee. Previously, I only had a cable box on my main TV and directly connected a coaxial cable into the back of my secondary TV's to get a signal. I wasn't able to get HDTV clarity but it was good enough resolution for my secondary TV's. Then, Spectrum decided to "upgrade" their system which required all my TV's to have a cable box. I also found out that Spectrum would charge a monthly rental fee for each additional cable box for my secondary TV's -- an idea which did not appeal to me. Luckily, I found out that having a ROKU device allows me to watch all my Spectrum channels on my secondary TV's without having to pay an additional monthly fee. I ended up buying 2 ROKU Streaming Stick +'s for my 2 secondary TV's and have been very happy with my purchases. If you're in a similar boat as I was, I highly recommend you get a ROKU device instead of paying your cable company an additional monthly fee to rent cable boxes for your secondary TV's. (Note: I still have a Spectrum box for my main TV, just not additional boxes for all the secondary TV's)

Upgraded to this roku after an older generation apple tv device drove us to madness. You can't beat the value of this little device. Very easy to set up and got working in now time. Has tons of features and makes watching all my streaming services a cinch. No problems thus far and am happy with it!

Ordered this and picked it up at the local store. Easy to order online and easy pick up. Staff were friendly and picking up the item was very quick. We enjoy how the Stick functions and is easy to operate and was fairly easy to do the initial programming and updating of the device.

This Roku is the third one I have purchased in order to save on monthly charges for cable box units. Very easy to set up and be able to watch many free tv shows and movies. Reception is excellent and many opportunities are available to stream through paid subscription offers from Netflix, Hulu and other choices depending on what you enjoy watching!

This is excellent for streaming ROKU, NETFLIX, HULU, etc. Easy to install and use, with clear reception and excellent sound. Pretty much a plug and play item, though you do have to sign up for the above mentioned systems, some are free and some are fairly inexpensive when you start talking cable prices.

Great for streaming And perfect picture reasonable price

I've bought eight of these for use at our two homes and I now am streaming on our TVs and have been able to drop two separate cable companies. Product takes a bit to set up but a lot of that has to do with streaming services. One I got it set up on the first TV the rest went very easy. Use is very easy once set up.

It made our dumb TV smart! We purchased the Roku Streaming Stick+ to have a remote to operate our YouTube TV app, without always having to grab our phones. Love the Roku but the remote is slippery, and easy to drop. I wish Best Buy would restock the remote covers for the Roku Stick+. Also love all the additional free apps on the Roku.

Roku is pretty solid. My significant other loves that she can power the TV on/off with the remote... Seems to be pretty standard for most players, but the feel of the remote in your hand I would have to say is what sells us on Roku.... Just wish they would add the Roku Ultra features like the headphone jack in the remote into the remote on the Stream Stick +

I'm very happy with this Roku Streaming Stick! I was watching You Tube through my old DVD player's internet connection because I don't have a smart tv. The tv and dvd player's memory would not allow more than a few minutes, depending on the program. This Roku stick lets me watch any length/type of program without kicking me out.

A very good products easy to install, has a great picture

Very easy to set-up. Instead of trying to view every single app available, can sign up for Roku account, view online, look up all the different apps (with descriptions) and easily add them to your channel store list. Any kind of content is available. Hardly watch regular TV anymore.

Purchased the Roku-Streaming stick+ 4K for our TV that is only 1080p, It was very easy to set up and was up and working within 10 minutes. Mainly purchased this Roku to we can download the Xfinity app and turn in the Xfinity box and save the $10.00 per month. I purchased this when it went on sale for the $37.99.

I'm really happy with the quality of the picture. Vibrant! Too bad it takes a smart person to hook it up. Kind a lot of stuff to get it going -- credit card info; lots of other questions. Too "techy" for me. Also, not much info on directions; like if it doesn't start right away; sometimes it's off for quite awhile (I called and it was a nationwide thing.) Things like that should be made known to the buyer. Other than that, love, love it. Buy a TV with it built-in. Less wires and maybe less hassle.
