Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the Roku Streaming Stick+'s ease of use, remote control, streaming quality, picture quality, and 4K capabilities, with many praising its simple setup and intuitive interface. However, some customers reported negative experiences with the device overheating and the remote's battery life. A few users also mentioned compatibility issues and occasional lag. Overall, the positive feedback on ease of use and performance outweighs the negative comments regarding specific issues.

Setup was easy. Works very well. WiFi reception is very good. Replaced a fire stick that I was having repeated problems with. I prefer the Roku. I can still get all me Prime content and I needed YouTube TV to work as well. I am all streaming for TV services. Roku channel is a benefit too.

It is easy to use and works well with all of the apps I tried except the Spectrum TV app. However I would still buy it and recommend it.

Setup was easy, still an issue between roku and youtube tv. Also, had an issue with setting up the power up screen I wanted to use. Called support and they told me what I did was not possible but seeing as how I had done it I knew it was. Said they would contact Roku development but still has not be resolved. But even with those minor problems, I am still happy with the device and its functionality.

The Roku Streaming Stick 4k, certainly handles my streaming efforts with the greatest of ease. Purchased 3 of them for my home tv's. Installation was simple and we are happy with our purchase. We ordered them online from BB and they were ready within 15 minutes. Picking them up was fast and easy.

I got this for my parents. They don't have a 4k tv, but this works fine and when they do upgrade they will have one capable of 4k and hdr. Remote has a shortcut for new service Disney Pus, which is pretty cool. With more old TV's and roku's eventually stopping support for netflix, this is a good choice.

Great streaming device. I have always used apple products. Picked up this Roku to stream content to an outside television. I love the compact portability of it. I even pack it on vacation now. Something I would never do with my Apple TV.

After my old Roku notified me that it would be ending its life when Roku updated its software, I was forced to purchase a new one. This Roku is similar to my last one. It was easy to install and setup. The one issue I have is the remote. Someone decided it would be a good idea to place the volume controls on the right hand side of the remote. Almost every time I pick up the remote, I mute the volume. Other than that, this seems like a good device.

It’s plugs directly into the HDMI port on your tv, and has an easy to use remote. I can watch Netflix, Amazon, Spectrum, play Pandora music, as well as use numerous other steaming apps. It even has a Roku app for streaming which has some good movies, shows and live streaming stations.

This is the best way to turn your TV into a smart TV. Its affordable, the interface is great, and the apps in the Roku ecosystem are near-universally great. Plus if one day if the stick gets old, outdated and slow... just buy a upgraded Roku stick instead of having to throw out your tv.

I finally cut the cord and went to YouTube TV. I have a Samsung TV from 2015 that won't work with the YouTube TV app, so this worked great. The remote is simple and I like to use it better than the remote that come with the TV. It takes a few seconds to boot up, but it doesn't bother me too much.

I have an Insignia branded TV that isn't smart. Its a 55" and well since its been working so well for so many years I wanted to have streaming services on the TV. Easy to setup and easy to use. Great price for 30.00 I paid. It isn't the 4k model but neither is my TV. Highly recommended.

I have multiple FireTVs some 4K and some not. I also have Chromecast 4K and the Roku Stick+ is far superior! Amazon does not support YouTubeTV, and Chromecast is just so limited unless you are streaming from a device, which sucks!. Roku has both and many more apps as well. I do not know why I waited so long to own a Roku stick?!

This is the 3rd personal Roku that I have bought for myself. I was on the road and staying with a friend without cable so what was the best choice of option. Buy a Roku and enjoy it. This smaller version is great for traveling because you can easily pop it in your backpack and have your entertainment to go. The only downside to it is that it doesn't include an HDMI extender. You can get one for free from Roku but I would prefer to have it in the box ready.

Bought two of these, one for the family room and one for a bedroom. Easy set up. Recently cut the cord with spectrum. Using hulu as a streaming app. As with everything there is slight learning curve, but not too bad, just have to get used to the remote. Would recommend!!!

Got it for my basement TV. We recently cut our Xfinity cable by more than half by just going with their internet. There's not enough time in the day to get your money's worth from Xfinity. They're just too expensive. No more cable box fees. Easy set up and user friendly.

Fast with great picture quality! Runs apps faster than my Samsung tv. It pulls good audio for my atmos set up. I also got the premiere which is even faster with more audio options, but I moved this one to a bedroom tv and it doesn't skip a beat running sling at over 7mbs.

This is a good way to move from cable TV to streaming Internet TV. Installation was quick and easy, and there are lots of options for various TV services. One caveat is that some of the newer Smart TVs already have the ability to load apps and connect to the Internet, so the Roku is only for those that do not have that ability.

I have several of these plugged into samsung TVs so that I can stream Netflix, Amazon Prime, and use the Spectrum app to access my cable TV for free rather than paying for a box. Love it - pricepoint is perfect for adding premium TV to other rooms rather than paying monthly fees for set top boxes.

I have 2 of these and an ultra. I highly suggest roku for those that don't neccesarily like to tinker. Basically the apple of the streaming world. But I forgot there is apple tv. But I suggest this or chromcast with google tv or nvidia shield if you are a power user.
