Purchased the Roku Streaming Device January 4 2020 . Very easy to set up , great picture , also the remote will control tv power and also, volume, which is a plus for me . Yes , I would recommend buying this product .

Aside from having to order the (free) adapter so I wouldn't snap the stick off while it's sticking out from the side of my TV, (that's right next to a doorway), and the signal reception being crazy weak. (I'd imagine if it weren't the Plus, with the antenna extender, I'd have to be in the same room as the router. Right now it's a couple walls, but less than 30 ft away and the signal rarely gets up to 20%. The other TV is only around 37 ft and 1 wall away, and it's around 10% at the best. But as long as it still works and doesn't buffer during the shows, It's okay.) ... I'm still extremely pleased with the Roku because of it's content, picture quality, and speed. ... So much so that I purchased a second as a Mother's Day present.

Roku is the best device out there and this stick+ stands above the rest to have portability, speed, remote that does audio commands and tv control and just overall ease of use. Get it!

Wow! Great product, easy interface, sleek remote, picture quality streaming is amazing. Recently cut the cable cord and purchase this Roku stick for all my TV's and simply amazing! The remote is awesome as well! Highly recommended

Bought this for tv in guest room. Setup was easy. Does have lag at times from the moment a button is pressed til something happens, but it’s not a big deal. Definitely faster and better than the Roku XD it replaced.

I’ve used Roku devices for 7 years now. This latest version works faster than my previous Roku stick. Less time to load a show or movie. And the Roku interface is still the same, so no new learning is required to find things, which is great. The best part about this combo set is that the remote control now has the ability to turn the TV on/off, as well as TV volume control which is a super practical upgrade. And with the voice command feature, searching for things is 100 times faster and simpler. I can just speak the words of the movie or show and it gives me the list of options, without having to type it in the search box. I expect to be a Roku user for many more years.

This is my second Roku device. The first one is the Streaming Stick, and this one is the Streaming Stick Plus. The dongle is bigger, and it has an different cable for better WiFi. This is also the 4K HDR entry level model. I like that the new remote has a TV power and volume button. With this upgraded version, it has access to 4K programming that I can't get on the basic stick. I recommend it over the Chromecast any day. I honestly don't even know when I used my Chromecast last.

Surprisingly easy to use this device. Very reliable remote control - figured out old TV with no problem. Roku service has no performance delays and it was easy to connect to wifi. Really like it.

Roku saved our household. My parents were falling apart having to pay $150 (!!!) every single month for cable since they didn't know any better. But lo and behold, their brilliant son (ahem, me) finally took a pair of scissors to their precious cable box and cut their cable! Now with Roku and SlingTV for only $30 a month (#notsponsored), my parents are getting MORE channels for literally 1/5 their old monthly bill. AND IT'S SO EASY TO USE! After only one day of me showing them how to use their Roku and get their favorite programs on their "magic box" in the living room, they're Roku pros! And I've successfully won Son of the Year for the 20th year in a row :)

I love my Roku! I purchased mine because I have older Smart TVs that still work beautifully but lack the capability to add on apps for newer streaming services, such as Disney+ and Apple TV. I now have the ability to watch my streaming services and am pleased with the speed and ease of setup and how well they work. The only downside I have found is you can get HBO, but not HBO Max, Other than that, I'm thrilled with my purchase. In fact. I actually got 2 more for my other TVs! It's so great for those of use who have "cut the cord!"

My Roku system box literally had a meltdown after a lightning strike near our house one evening. Our replacement, the newest generation Roku Streaming Stick was a great buy at a great price...

This is one of the best streaming device you can get right now, This little stick does get hot which I did take off one star. But this is an essential device for your older TVs without built in Roku, Amazon Fire, etc. Works easy and play at 4k without any issues so far.

i have 3 firesticks and now this 1 roku. I like it a bit better. It seems as fast as my newer fire stick but I like the remote and interface way better. Happy with the purchase

If your tv can handle 4K and her then this is what you need to make it a smart tv. Easy menu unlike the fire stick that has a lot of things going on. Simple and gives great picture

i had a tcl roku tv which turned out to be garbage, but i got addicted to the roku interface due to the ease of use. this streaming stick + is the real deal. way better than the tcl roku tv interface b/c it's a luxurious purple color and the remote also has a microphone and feels way more strudy unlike the tcl roku tv remote. plus, i have it hooked up to my samsung qled since the smart interface on that tv is not great, but now i have the best of both worlds; a qled with great picture and motion quality and a roku +. got in on sale for $50 so i'm stoked. lovin it. this roku+ blows away the roku tv. that is like their entry level. get an actual quality tv like a samsung or vizio AND a roku stick+ NOT a roku tv. especially not a tcl tv. they are garbage. learned my lesson.
