Perfect for Sling or Direct Tv Now users.

I made a switch from Suddenlink Cable to a pay as you go tv. I hate contracts like Dish,Direct Tv, and etc, especially since they are two year contracts. I found out about Sling TV back when it was getting started, I used to pay around $20 but since it has gone up a tad bit but its still great. Roku makes it easy to switch from TV to HDMI and control everything with the Roku remote, it works like a universal remote so if you ever lose the original remote to the TV not worry.

The one with vol control is worth the extra money

I really prefer the the one with volume control so you’re not using two remotes. Definitely worth the extra cost. I have owned 3 of the basic models and the remotes seem to fail after about a year or so of use.

Many options now available to us via both elements. ROKU even offers Black and white Batman 1947 episodes. Simple and effective control. No quick access to last channel is frustrating, but the price is right.
