We've had a Roku 3 for a number of years. We bought a new television but discovered that we couldn't use the Playstation Vue app on it. Thus, we now have two Rokus. I don't notice any real differences between the 3 and the stick. Losing the box was also nice. However, I neglected to realize that the stick was still going to need to be plugged in to work, so there is still a cord to hide.

I never realized that there were different options in the Roku experience. This streaming stick allows me to control volume and on/off with the Roku controller, so we no longer need two controllers to watch TV. Way to go! The only hiccup was the stick overheated in my TV, so we had to order the free extender. Now it seems to be fine.

This little stick offers great reception as promised. It loads everything as quickly as your internet bandwidth allows. The remote removes the need for line-of-sight controls. The 4K video quality seems fine, but there is rarely enough content or bandwidth to really test that out at the present. It may be worth it to save a bit of money and get the 1080p version which is otherwise the same.

Tjis is my 2nd device. Easy to program and use. Remote has several “fast key” options for the more popular services. You can use your voice for some features and use the remote for volume. For the most part the roku remote replaces the actual television remote. Cutting the cable cord was the best thing I could've done and having the roku made it easy!

My main reason for purchasing a roku is to eliminate my cable boxes which they charge a monthly fee. I can still watch my cable through the app but save money each year. This will also be great to utilize if I ever decide to cut the cable cord. There are many apps to download and it is very easy to use. It is compact and hides easily behind my tv!

This Roku was easy to set up and is easy to use. Since it attaches to the back of our TV, you never see it. The remote does everything! We've dropped cable and only use the Roku to stream our shows. We bought a subscription to Paramount Plus through the Roku which was easy to do. We don't miss cable at all.

A superb system that has gotten me through the transitional period of “cutting the cord.” However, as tv systems get smarter, I see this system becoming redundant except for tvs that incorporate Roku as their built-in systems—stand alone devices will slowly disappear. Actually, with the exception of Sony Tvs that refuse to incorporate the Apple TV app, we have reached that point now—Sony tvs may have one of the best pictures and above average reliability, but Sony does not produce the “smartest” tvs.

I love my new Roku. There are so many free channels available and Roku makes it easy to stream my paid subscriptions like Netflix and Disney+. I finally cut the cord and no longer have satellite nor cable. I am saving so much money each month!! I like the easy to use remote as well!!

If you have a 4k resolution tv, you will have perfect picture quality along with full remote control attributes. This is an excellent quality product at a reasonable price.

What a great purchase this was. We were looking to upgrade from our Roku 2 streaming device, after doing some research the streaming stick+ made sense. The reason for the upgrade was to use the YouTube TV streaming service which is awesome as well. You cant go wrong with this device. Having a HiSense 4K tv, the streaming stick+ is compatible with 4K as well which is great.

I recommend these to my not-so-tech-savvy family because they are easy to use. Not to mention the tons of free content and great app support are a real bonus. Will buy Roku products as long as they stay true to the great recipe they've developed. The only downside I can think of is that the stick format gets a bit warm when in use.

We purchased the Roku primarily so that we could watch Disney +. However, we now use it for Netflix also as the interface is much better, and easier to use that what is on our Smart TV. We have very slow DSL internet service, but that has not been an issue with the Roku. It was very easy to set up initially, and very easy to use.

We finally cut the cord and ditched our overpriced cable provider. For assorted reasons we don't have smart TVs and don't want them. Solution: Find an ISP, sign up for whatever streaming services you want, plug in the Roku stick, and you're good to go. Setup is easy, including adding an icon for each streaming service. This is an essential, low cost part of the configuration, and well worth the price. At this price, they're pretty much giving away the stick, hoping that you'll pay for their added-value services (some pay-per-view options, etc.) that we don't need, so there's no extra cost. You'll need one stick per TV, which makes sense. Each stick must be set up separately. The only problem with the design of the remote is that the Mute button is badly placed. I often accidentally hit the side Mute button with my middle finger as I use my index finger on the front buttons. We would be willing pay more for the stick to get improvements to the remote, such as backlight for the buttons, voice recognition that works for the streaming services, not just the Roku offerings, and customizable streaming service shortcut buttons.

I recently bought this for a family member because I have had mine for about a year and love it! It is so easy to log into my Hulu, Netflix and Amazon accounts all in one place and to use on any supported-TV. I got it at a great price and is definitely worth it. There are many other free channels to also explore.

I brought the Roku stick to replace my outdated Roku 2 box. Me and my family decided to also check out YouTube TV and so we did some research to which devices would handle YouTube tv. We thought about the Roku and saw the streaming stick. I also love how the device handles 4k. We also have a HiSense 4K tv. The picture and sound are amazing. I would recommend this device to anyone.

Purchased this after switching to Spectrum and being unhappy with how the Spectrum app worked on a Samsung TV with Smarthub. Much easier interface , plus can get Netflix and Amazon all in one place. Another benefit is being able to take the Roku with you when you travel and enjoy all of the networks you pay for wherever you are.

Love my Roku. It was quick and easy to set up. Works great and with it one can eliminate cable TV. There are thousands of free movies and TV shows to watch and if desired there are specific pay apps to add for your viewing pleasure. Hulu, Netflix, YouTube TV, and so on. All you need to stream shows is internet access.

I have had several devices like this (including other Roku devices), and this is by far the best for my needs. The signal strength is very good. The setup was very easy - including pairing with my TV. And to finally have TV volume and power on the Roku remote is a great add! Given everything I have seen with this type of device, it is the best at this price point.

Easy to install and use! I’m saving money by streaming my channels. The roku was East to install and I love the microphone feature. I’d reconvened this product!! One downfall is that if it is in an in closed tv stand , it sometimes says roku is getting too hot . So I moved it out of the tv stand and issue was fixed.

Now I have three of these babies. I prefer the stick+ 4K over the other ones because of these main reasons: 1- Great receiving distance 2- Powered by the TV 3- 4K capabilities 4- The remote is easy to use and in my opinion better than the Apple TV for and for 1/4 of its price.
