The perfect gift

Its a great alternative to a cable box and has an almost invisible footprint.

Roku Streaming Stick works great.

It is always on and connected to the internet so when I turn on my TV , I can instantly start watching. When I used to use my smart TV for streaming, I would have to turn on, then wait for boot up and internet connection, similar to turning on a computer, so it would take at least a minute or so after turn on to start watching something. This version of roku also has a power button and volume control for the TV so no longer need TV remote.

Makes my life so much easier

Previously I had been streaming hbo max from my laptop to my tv via hdmi cord. Evertime I watched a show, and the episode would end, the screen would automatically switch from fullscreen to small screen. So annoying as I'd have to get up and switch it back to full screen everytime an episode ended. I no longer have to worry about this issue thanks to the hbomax app on roku. The voice search option is a nice added bonus.
