Seems to work well, easy to use, simple set up, controls are ok, but limited. Shortcuts should be customizable, as not everyone has Netflix or other preselected ones that are on the remote.... overall it is good.

We recently bought LG Thinq Smart TV's for our new home because we thought they would provide all our desired & streaming programming. Once we moved in and Spectrum was connected, we were very disappointed that we were required to rent Spectrum boxes for every TV in the house if we wanted to get their channels, Bay News 9 as an example. Then came ROKU to the rescue, as it offers the Spectrum App. Yeah! We are returning the Spectrum boxes for all of our TV's, saving us $50 a month!

I have apple TV, Firestck and Roku. I ordered this Roku because Also have a Roku TV. This the best of them all.

Does it’s job, I didn’t wanna spend the money on Apple TV right now just needed it for basic streaming. Works great!

Since the Roku is a streaming device, there is no need to run cable wires to the TV. and can easily be moved to another location.

As a recent cordcutter, I'm thrilled with how much I'm saving from subscriptions to streaming services over traditional cable. The Roku is a great avenue for that, with a UI that's simple and responsive. I'm a fan of how the form factor is a simple HDMI stick (albeit a rather long one), so it's not very obtrusive and takes up little space. Be mindful of how the stick requires a power source though. I had to move some things around to ensure that the power cable reached an outlet. Setup takes a fair bit of time, involving account creation, internet connection, and TV sync for volume control. Occasionally, the Roku freezes up on me and I'll have to get up to press the restart button on the stick. Overall, it's a no-brainer investment that's already more than paid for itself.
