My first Roku. Been using Apple TV in a bedroom for years. Apple TV is great, but it's not cheap, and I didn't want to pay so much to stream on this TV. I also wanted to experience the Roku I've heard so much about. The stick works fine. Never a problem connecting to my wifi network from the other side of the house. The Roku channel, and other free channels, provide extra content that I don't seem to find on pay-streaming channels. The remote is fine--simple, without all the extra buttons I don't want or need, and it fits the hand easily. However...the first week or so, it would stop in the middle of a show and instruct me to use the wall plug for power because my USB port wasn't providing enough. I'd turn it off. Then later I'd turn it on and it worked for an hour or so until I got the error message again. But because the power cord length was way too short, I was trying to wait until I could buy a longer one. Meanwhile, the error message stopped appearing. It's been a few weeks now without the message, so...dunno. Guess it's going to be ok. If I knew I'd never get the message again, and/or if Roku had included a reasonable length charging cord, I'd give it a 5. Wish a 4.7 button was offered. But even if I have to use the power cord, it's still not a deal breaker... Get it. It's good.

Only using Netflix and other free streaming channels. Bought large big screen smart TV to replace older flat screen. Needed Roku for old TV. No problems at all. Easy install. Set up account and password with 1-time log-in. Remote has buttons for popular streaming channels. Other free channels available.

I went with this instead of the Apple 4K tv. And I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. There are a ton of apps and the streams are super clear.

Relatively easy to set up and use. I was able to connect to Xfinity X1 streaming so I didn't need to get another setup box. I just wish all the streaming apps I set up on one of my Roku devices were automatically set up on a different device so I didn't have to reenter all the credentials.

It's great and so easy to use. It's only the stick but it's seems so much better than our other roku ultra. It has disney+ as a quick button too, which is great because we watch Disney+ alot! I'm trying to get my household totally on roku. Also loving the best buy curbside pickup!!!

Roku is the ONLY streaming stick worth the money. Both the remote and user interface are intuitive and content offering is slightly more broad than Firestick or Chromecast, etc. Hopefully Roku doesn't get greedy and ruin a good thing by locking down content and rolling out restrictions.

Haven’t experienced any hiccups with connections and the picture quality is fantastic. recommend plugging power into a wall and not run off the tv.

Found this for a decent price at BBY. We just upgraded our internet and TV to Spectrum from AT&T and Direct TV. Wanted to save money and not pay for another HD box for a "dumb" TV in the kitchen. Was told we could see all of our channels using a ROKU stick. Unfortunately, my old one from a couple of years ago would not load the Spectrum App to provide all the channels they supply. Had to upgrade to this one. I like the fact that it controls the TV's on/off function and volume. My old ROKU remote could not do this. The app work fine albeit a bit slower than the HD box would have been. The loading of a program requires a few more clicks with the stick. That is a process issue, not due to the ROKU per se'. Overall, I like the device. It provides access not only to Spectrum programming, but also allows me to view my Netflix and Amazon Prime video as well. So no real complaints. The cost savings will pay itself back in about 4-5 months.

I have an older 4k TV with an outdated OS. I have used roku before and really liked the interface. I decided to do an upgrade and install this 4K streamer. Plug it in, hook up the power supply, let it run its update. That’s it. Works great, super easy interface and in my opinion the picture looks better with the roku.

We purchased roku only to see a specific streaming show that was being aired before our new tv could be delivered and set up. Now we don't need it on our FR tv but may indeed use it someday with our bedroom tv. It was easy to set up and worked as needed. We're awful with technology so it was indeed easy.

Pros: For the price, this device really gives me what I needed to cut cable. It is one of the few devices that has YouTubeTV. It is easy to add apps to the home and it switches and loads apps really fast. Much quicker than my FireTV Stick, Sony Blu-ray, or my TV's built in apps. Cons: There is no mute on the remote, it can only control volume up or down. The search by voice feature is only on the home screen, it doesn't work in an app, so I still have to search manually (one letter at a time) with the direction buttons in apps like Netflix or YouTube.

We purchased this streaming device to replace one that was incompatible with our 4K TV. The first thing I experienced was that unlike the previous Roku device, this streaming stick picked up both my 2g and 5g WiFi signals (the previous one only picked up the 2g). Next, it allowed me to configure the remote control so that I could turn the TV on and off, which I thought was great, because for the most part, the Tv remote is only used for turning the power on and off, and to change the channels. Once the device was completely set up, we went to the Spectrum TV app. I was pleasantly surprised when I was able to use the voice command feature to go to an app. The app doesn’t allow you to go directly to a specific channel, so you have to use the directional buttons to scroll up or down to the channel you want. Other than that one issue, the streaming device is working great.

I've been using Roku for the past couple years now and they've been great. I even use Roku on my smart tvs just for the ease of use. Most, if not all of the popular streaming apps are available and streams w/no issues and love the little remote as well.

It is easy to use and high quality, high definition. You can add as many channels as your service provider allows. You can travel and bring the stream stick with you and watch the channels you like. The picture is in good quality as you see in the original televisions!

Súper easy to use and set up. I’ve never tried a media streaming device, but put this on my smart TVs to make a consistent interface for all rooms. Easy to configure with your favorite apps up front. Using with a tablo for a single antenna source for the whole house.

I have avoided a ROKU purchase for years, but with all the new content it has I decided to take a shot and try it. GREAT DECISION!! It was easy to install, easy to use, and produce has quality look and feel. Already have used it to watch StarTrek: Discovery shows which are fantastic.

I bought this for my secondary TV because the previous streaming device I had on it (a PS3) was becoming hopelessly obsolete. I previously bought a Fire Stick 4K for my main system, so this would be a chance to compare the two. The Roku works very well, and I checked out the 4K, the Dolby Audio formats, and they worked fine. I use the Xfinity Beta Stream app on the secondary system and it works just like having another Xfinity X1 box without actually having one there. There are a lot more apps for the Roku than for the Fire TV 4K, but most of them are kind of worthless. Some don't actually work. I like the way Roku changes the wallpaper for special occasions like New Years and the holidays. I think it is a great purchase and can be moved easily or taken on trips as needed.
