It is a Roku. That is a good thing. It is 4K and it has a voice remote. Those are all good things. The only thing I wish they would do is have a "real" on/off switch. You can turn this thing off, but it seems to come back on its own. And there is no way to tell if it is really off. At times I have had brand new batteries and come back next time to find them dead. Gets frustrating.

So easy to set up and use. The stick has already a usb power cable that you can connect to your tv. Also comes with separate adapter if you want to use wall socket. Lots of free channels and movies. The voice control and volume control is so convenient to use. No need to shuffle your remote. Highly recommended

I’m new to the roku world so wasn’t sure what to expect but pleasantly surprised by the channels offered and the quality of the signal.

Great for streaming, Everything loads fast, has a great interface, Plus you don't have a box sitting on your TV stand. One other thing, it has a universal remote that will control your TV from turning it on and off, to the volume control and the mute.

I keep trying to convince my parents to upgrade their home theater setup but they have thus far staunchly refused... By far the most notable sticking point was that they were still streaming off of a year and years old blu-ray player, and the apps are slowly no longer supported. One affordable Christmas present later solved all of that. I have a couple other Roku's and the setup is always super easy and straightforward, so I figured the stick would be as well. No complaints whatsoever. It's great to get USB power from the TV and never worry about an AC adapter. The remote is responsive, and the streaming quality is excellent as always. They love the quick keys to get to Netflix and Hulu since those are out favorites, thought I really wish they would also include a couple customizable keys as well, since there are so many streaming stations coming out now. Need another streaming device for an older TV? Just get one of these... it's about as low-key awesome as they get.

Excellent purchase. Value for money. Great Product. Works like a charm. No lags (I have high speed internet). Very easy to set up. I have multiple Rokus - and it is a breeze to switch from one to another and continue watching the shows.

very happy with this product. I can now watch you tube and Netflix on my not smart TV. It does not require any payments to Roku I already had a Netflix account on another TV and got Netflix without any problem. I had no problem with installation.

I got an new Roku because I chose a non-smart TV. I'd rather have control over what my TV knows about me, so I stuck with a brand I know. It's much easier to us than any other Roku I've had, I don't even need my TV remote with this one, and the voice feature is very easy to use.

I love the product, its fast and easy to use with no tech experience at all. The only complaint I have is that it runs through 2A batteries. We have had it a couple of months and it seems to need batteries all the time. ( I am using new, name brand batteries)

Very easy to install - up and running in just a few minutes. Works well - no lag. I have no cable tv, only internet, so being able to stream Netflix, Prime, etc. to a larger screen than my monitor is useful. Considering the falling cost of smart tvs though, this could be better priced.

the roku streaming stick plus was easy to set up and worked perfectly enabling me to watch tv shows and movies while away from home.

I love it, you can read all about features elsewhere. Only thing I struggle with is apps continuing to stream. Here's what I mean. We only get two streams for our household (DirctvNow). I originally set it up with USB power from the TV...great because when the TV goes off, so does the stick and no possible streaming in the background. The problem with this is everytime you turn the TV on, the Roku takes a few to boot up. That's not so bad, but more than a few times my remote just wouldn't pair and I'd have to re-sync it. So now I have the stick plugged in with dedicated power and everything is perfect, just can't expect the family to kill the app everytime, so the app continues to stream in the background even when the TV is turned off. The app does have a time out, but that is a few hours. I've read some crafty ways people have gone into their router and set limits or time or whatever, but I just deal with it. As far as the product itself, it works perfect. I can stream in 4K, have it connected to Fandango so all our stuff integrates directly into the main interface - family loves it.

Great substitution for not having a TV with smart capabilities. One of the few products I have purchased that exceeded expectations

great stream stick some might say the interface is old but at least it works, and great for tv watching and not paying for cable !!

I bought this to replace a Roku Express I had. I noticed the Roku express was slow when it came to loading shows. Not only is this device much faster, but it also buffers less and the addition of the power and volume controls makes it to where the tv remote is almost completely unnecessary.

Bot this as an upgrade to an older Roku device. Nice features like 4K and new updated apps like Apple TV. Nice to also have remote that doesn’t need to be pointed at a box. Stick is plugged into back of TV out of sight. Powered by USB on TV as well. I like that it’s portable as well.

This is my second Roku stick and I love it! I have an older Panasonic tv that is great, except it had no internet. This Roku is easy to set up and I get Netflix and all the other stations easily. It really is great and the price is also great for what you get! No need for a new TV!

I had a Roku account and when I bought the streaming stick it was no effort to set it up and add to the account. A great purchase

I've standardized all my TVs with Rokus. This way I have a similar interface and remotes for each TV. You can add apps for each streaming service that you subscribe too, There are also free options. This has also allowed me to get rid of my cable boxes since I can stream TV from my cable provider.

Tried 3 versions of the Roku device. All were easy to instal and all are working fine streaming from a high speed internet. The package that comes with the volume control on the remote is very handy. Wish I had it o my other devices. Set up with Roku was easy.
