I have two Samsung Smart TVs from 2015 and there were a bunch of apps that just weren't offered on their platform. I bought the Roku Streaming Stick+ and it's definitely been worth it. Every app and streaming platform you could want is on Roku's system. It's very sleek and easily transferred from my living room TV to my bedroom TV. The device is fast and has great connectivity; no diminishing video quality or lagging. The Roku remote with TV power and volume control means it's the only remote I need to use. The Roku app is great too because it allows you to use your phone as a remote (which is helpful when you can type things on your phone's keyboard instead of scrolling around with the remote) and it has a really cool feature: you can listen to your TV through any headphones connect to your phone. It's helpful when someone else is sleeping or on a call and you want to watch TV. Overall just a great device and value.

I bought this to take the place of the “smart part” of my LG TV. The LG tv was slow and “buffered” a lot. I have had great luck with a Roku stick on another TV and decided to give it a try. It works well. No more buffering and it’s easier to access the apps. Highly recommend.

Setup was simple if you follow the steps provided. Picture quality was excellent. Doesn't take long to learn how to navigate but I do miss a "last" button for jumping to a channel you were previously watching without going back to the channel guide to select it.

My Roku streaming stick plus works great, we love how compact and no wires sticking out. I haven’t had any issues at all and it’s been flawless. I’m going to purchase one more for a total of three, we have cut the cord and do streaming tv, I invested a little money to save a lot.

Roku streaming stick is much better than I expected with something to watch any hour of the day or night. It was very easy to setup. Lots of great FREE shoes to watch. No complaints from me. And the little remote is great.

I have a lower version roku that I enjoy but moved up to this one for the higher benefits. It has not disappointed! Great picture when using my cable provider app to stream, same with Netflix. Love that this remote has the volume control right on it. I would buy this again!

This Roku streaming stick works extremely well and is excellent value for money. Set up is straightforward and easy to complete. The Roku interface is one fo the best on the market and I am very pleased with my purchase!

The Roku Streaming stick is the ideal upgrade for almost any TV. Most smart TV end up becoming sluggish over time and/or the manufacturer no longer updates the firmware. The simple solution is a Roku stick. Plug this in and any TV becomes an up-to-date smart TV. All my favorite steaming services are accessible in one place. Netflix, Prime, Hulu, Xfinity, etc. My wife and kids enjoy the fact that any and all content is available to them with a single remote control. One big advantage of this stick is it's support for the Xfinity app. Once setup, Xfinity customers can stream Live TV and DVR shows. With Roku and the Xfinity app, I was able to eliminate two cable boxes and now save $20/month on rental fees. This was a great purchase and I highly recommend it. It is yet another product with a high WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor) and it will save me money in the long run.

This is my first Roku streaming device and I must say I am extremely impressed with it. I have an older, non-smart tv that still works great, so I wanted to find a streaming device to use with it. After looking around at my options, I decided to give the Roku Stick a try. My initial impression upon first use was to question why anyone would spend extra money on a smart TV. So far every smart TV I've owned has been slower than this Roku stick, is buggy, and has very limited in storage. Instead of paying a premium for a nice smart TV I would recommend buying a nice, non-smart tv and a Roku Stick to use with it. The Roku Stick contained all the apps I would ever need so I'm very happy with this purchase. It's ability to give additional life to an 8 year old tv for less than $50 is unbeatable.

Absolutely love. I usually have Apple TV but it’s so expensive so opted for a cheaper option. Love this roku stick. Easy to use and is fast loading. I tried a fire stick before and hated. Was not disappointed.

Roku is the best streaming media player available. Great picture, simple to operate, fast and reliable. Unlike other streaming media players, you aren’t limited as far as streaming services. It’s got them all. Loved it so much I’ve got one in every room. GREAT buy!

The Appletv is a streaming device I have had for almost every generation and I was always hesitant regarding Roku. The current generation of Appletv cost me $199 and the remote is a joke. They tried to make it cutting edge like a touchscreen with gaming and it fails. Menus are not very navigational and some don't want to talk, they want to thumb. Enter Roku, I got this for about $40 and it is amazing. Crazy easy remote. Good menu. Does everything you need it to do. Understand people, the device is just a device and you do not need to pay Apple $199 to watch your favorite show or movie as the apps are basically in every ecosystem and it is about getting to the show, not about the main menu. By the way, Roku has a good main menu, so save the money. The quick links to 3 out of the 4 services I watch are super fast access as well: Hulu, ESPN+, Netflix.

I wanted to stream video on my small kitchen TV but it has limited capabilities. Rather than go purchase a new smart TV that had built in streaming I went and purchased this Roku stick. I prefer Roku's menu system and home page. Its very intuitive to operate and I was able organize the apps I wanted from their vast selection of streaming channels. I find it much easier to navigate using Roku's menu and remote control over Amazon's Fire stick. I read that there might be issues with this remote control so I picked up the extended warranty from Best Buy for a small amount of dollars for some added insurance.

Works well. Does as advertised. Easy to install. Does not take up much space. I wish it had a numeric keypad to select channels rather than scrolling with arrow keys. Takes a while to get used to commands (not many buttons). Decent price.

Very easy to connect to your tv and excellent picture quality. No lag in streaming and lot of content to choose from. Biggest selling point for me is this allows you to use Xfinity Stream on a tv in lieu of paying Xfinity for additional cable boxes! Pays for it self in 6 months.

Super easy set up. I can stream thru my Samsung phone to hear thru my wireless headphones or thru my Proform treadmill with 3,5 to 3,5 Jack. Tons of free channels, and streams live xfinity as well as saved and any searchable or demand program! So glad i got this!!

Unlike many other media players, Roku does not play favorites with one particular streaming service. The variety and ease of accessing any app, along with the cross-platform search feature makes Roku the best overall service. This little stick offers great reception as promised. It loads everything as quickly as your internet bandwidth allows. The remote removes the need for line-of-sight controls. The 4K video quality seems fine, but there is rarely enough content or bandwidth to really test that out at the present. It may be worth it to save a bit of money and get the 1080p version which is otherwise the same. The last thing to note is the cool addition of TV control built into the Roku remote. It only controls the TV's power, volume and input. Handy for just a simple setup, useless if you have a good soundbar or home theater setup because the Roku remote cannot be programed to control anything but TVs. Perhaps a software update will fix this some day. I use a Logitech Harmony remote anyway, so no big loss for me.

I normally use a PS4 for my streaming activities but have one extra TV than I do PS4s and tried this out as a replacement. I was not disappointed. The interface is great and easy enough for my 4 year old to use and the price is well worth it.

This is the ideal 4K streaming stick for $50. Supports Dolby Atmos which was the new feature we were looking for to complement our new Atmos soundbar. We also tried the Amazon 4K stick but liked the Roku remote and ecosystem better.

This is my 5th Roku. I love them. They have a clean, quick and intuative interface. Also, the remote is simple. Much better than the Apple TV remotes. I used this stick to add streaming to a dumb TV I purchased for a vacation home. Highly recommended!
