I’m not a tech geek by any stretch, but even a dummy like me had no issues with such a simple device. My plan was to finally cut the chord and save $150 a month on my cable bill. The Roku and a subscription to YouTube TV did just that. However, I was surprised at how many free channels are available with just the Roku alone. Pluto TV is one of the free apps that comes with the Roku and is loaded with quality channels. The only caveat that I feel worth mentioning is that streaming devices like the Roku will utilize a lot of data and so an unlimited internet data plan would be a good idea if you watch a lot of television. Best $40 I ever spent!

I've found that the Roku device is great for streaming shows whether it's TV or Prime or VUDU or Netflix...it doesn't matter. The device works flawlessly. I know own several of these devices.

I recently bought a TCL Roku TV and love the Roku interface. This streaming stick is a great way to convert on older TV into a smart of Roku TV. It's very easy to set up and easy to use.

Surprisingly easy installation and set up. Took 10 minutes. Once we installed one and had it working, we bought 3 more for each of the TVs in the house. Roku has an extensive library of apps available to install to the device. Caution though, the voice control works only for the apps on the Roku dashboard and not once you are in an app. So don't buy it if you are expecting a voice remote that will change channels. Taught my 82 year old mother who is not great with technology how to use it. If you have good wifi in your home, then Roku will definitely help you "cut the cord" from dependence on hi speed cable.

I mainly purchased this product because of the remote - I purchased new tv with very small keys. I did not expect this product to perform so well due to its size, but it has not disappointed.

I compared this device to the amazon device and Roku by far was very easy to use. I was able to locate free channels. Looking up for Tv shows or Movies was so much better and to purchase any movies made it so simple.

Every household should own a Roku stick. The setup is easy, the interface is very user friendly and you can take it with you on trips and use in hotels!

The roku is easy to set up and use. Connects quickly and there is a lot of content to access. You can use the voice command to change channels. Good value.

Love this thing. I ended up buying 3 of them. We cut the cord with cable, and now stream Netflix and Sling. There is also options for on the go apps from cbs, cnn and other networks! Great price too

I have been a Roku user for years. I recently upgraded to the Stick+ and love it! The Stick+ increased speed of use drastically. Also, the voice and power features are game changers. I highly recommend the Stick+!

Better than advertised. It’s amazing how many free channels are available through ROKU, and it even hosts all of my local because I use an OAT with AirTV.

Simple setup and streaming. Great price and it pays for itself in 3 months, as I don’t need to pay monthly for the cable box.

Awesome stick. No issues setting the stick up. Everything I needed was in the box and the video quality is better than what I was getting with my chromecast. A win, win. The remote works great.

This Roku stick is great. It is very fast, has longer range to my router, great fell to the remote, and has voice remote. Build quality is top notch. Excellent buy.

We were having tons of issues with our "older smart TV" apps, we ad no idea smart TVs stop updating apps after they reach a certain age, so were.getting ready to buy a new TV, thinking our TV was deffective. Our best buy sales guy recommended ROKU to access all our entertainments apps. What a great recommendation! Now we even take this portable external drive (about the size if a USB) with us when we travel and watch all our favorite shows in our hotel room :).

Very happy with this the roku streaming stick. No surprises on install, works well and the remote worked with my tv with NO effort on my part, which I appreciate. Also easy to install apps.

I am new to streaming devices so I went with advice from friends & online WEB reviews. So far so good. PROs 4K HDR (but not HDR10+ found in Google & Amazon devices according to reviews, but I really don't know what this really means ) latest dual-band Wi-Fi remote control is handy & easy to use, especially the MUTE button for shutting out commercials, and it is not infrared so you don't have to point it at the device box undamaged, appeared to be new & unopened cost effective (on sale) CONs promised next day free shipping to a pickup location near me, but UPS was backed up and I got it on the 4th day after ordering; missed out on over 3 days of binge watching pre-progrmmed buttons for HULU, Netflix, Disney+, & Sling on the remote not useful for me and gets in the way
