Recently purchased a new smart tv, but it didn't have the Roku OS built in. Tried getting on without it, but have gotten so used to Roku that I had to go get a stick for this one. This is my first Streaming Stick+. The wireless range is excellent, and the 4k is as good as is claimed to be. Everything else great about Roku is present as well. The only (small) nitpick is that that advanced wireless adapter adds a little bulk to the back of the TV, but not enough to deduct a star.

Great device, Great cost. I can replace some of my Xfinity boxes as well. And now with HBO Max!

As an Amazon Prime member, I was able to purchase the 4K FireStick at a discounted rate, and later ended up purchasing this 4K Roku streaming stick instead. The UI of Roku is very easy to use and has all of the programs I am looking for. The remote is just the right size and very easy to use. My only complaint is that the buttons at the bottom should be customizable, where when tapped it can open a different application, ie Plex.

We watch Direct TV Now - Internet app for cable tv, but my smart tv is not so smart for the app, DVD Blueray not so smart for the app, this Roku is a step up from my old Roku that did not have the app (6 years back). This one is bad to the bone. We have it in the bedroom. Turns on and off the tv, runs the volume and all around my internet tv options, even has an impressive voice search engine. But the best is one remote! No trying to find the original remote to turn the tv off or play with the volume. It is great.

Best thing I could've gotten for my new house. I used to connect my laptop to my tv in order to get access to things like Netflix and Hulu. This is so much faster and easier! Lots of great apps and channels to choose from. I just wish that Cox would get a contract with Roku and make a channel. The remote can be sensitive. If i accidentally push it against something, I go from watching a show back to the home screen.

I feel like I really got my money's worth out of this streamer. The wireless functionality is great - I haven't had any glitches in the video when I'm streaming. The picture quality is great for non-4K, 4K and HDR - all look really sharp. Doesn't support Dolby Vision, however. I owned Roku's in the past and was lukewarm on them. However, this version is so responsive and has such good picture quality. Seems like a great deal for the price.

This device streams well. It has stuttered once and had to be reset. Picture quality is excellent, sound controls somewhat inconvenient on the side of the remote. Sometimes hard to go back a menu, but will probably learn how it works better. Biggest problem is that many of the premium channels require you to sign on with your cable provider. If you do not have cable there is no way to get these channels. I cannot pay Roku for them. And if I had cable then I would not need the Roku at all. So it is inconsistent in what it can provide me. Also it uses RF, not infrared for control so it will not work with my Harmony all in one remote.

We purchased the Roku streaming stick for a bedroom TV that is not connected to our Comcast cable. It works great! We are able to watch all our Xfinity cable channels after we downloaded the Xfinity app and entered the online code. This is a great alternative that allows us to watch all our cable channels without paying for service to an additional TV. Comcast charges for each TV! Roku is easy to connect and has access to many additional free channels.

I bought this to use with a small TV in bedroom where I could not get a cable outlet. I am very happy with Roku so far. I can watch my Spectrum channels plus Apple TV, Netflix and other streaming services. It was easy to sync and so far I have chosen not to add any extra paid service. The free channels have been enough but there is a lot to select from if you want the full package. I also like that I can use the Roku with my large living room TV.

Good basic 4k streamer. Good selection. Did get overheating warning the first time using with HBO max, on WW1984. Has been ok since.
