We are cutting our DirecTV satellite subscription after 20 years with them. We are now 100% streaming with the Roku device. Its been about a month now and we are happy. The picture is clear and sharp. No issues with picture quality, and no issues with Wifi spots. Overall, very happy we made the switch. Just make sure you have unlimited data plan because the data goes fast with High Def TV/movie shows.

Bought this to improve our streaming experience as the "smart tv" was not doing a great job - getting hang-ups, unwanted pauses, disliked the interface via the tv's remote, etc. With this Roku streaming stick I'm getting a seamless and FAST streaming experience. Love the remote with voice search, no hang-ups, and streaming is SO much faster than before. I give it a thumbs-up.

A good alternative if you don't have a smart TV. My wife ended up plugging it into her work monitor. However I must say the responsiveness is better than my fire TV. Not much lag between the controller and the interface. Just note that the dongle gets quite hot when plugged in the power outlet. I had to remove the plug when not in use.

Lots of free stuff available, though it's mostly obscure and/or second-rate stuff. Or worse :-). But since I don't much like the pop stuff, and can wait for it to come down to free level, that's not much of a disadvantage. Didn't want to recognize my 1920X1080 TV as FHD, but did let me manually configure it to deliver the correct resolution, and the picture is great. My one real complaint is that, although Roku tells you honestly when or if something is free, some of the other channels lie, saying they're free, but when you get into them, you can't find anything that doesn't cost money, sometimes a lot of money.

Easy to set up; wide selection of programing available through Roku; and this model -- the Streaming Stick+ 4K -- allows connection to an iOS device via AirPlay. That's proved very useful in being able to watch on our TV programing available on the iPhone but not otherwise through Roku. A whole lot of value in this little package.

This is a great alternative to the overpriced cable TV. All streaming aps can be attached to the stick, and then take it with you. Add Sling TV, with the basic cable channel options, to this little device and you'll wonder why the switch wasn't done sooner. The ease of navigating the movie and streaming aps is unbelievable. Highly recommend everyone make the switch.

I’m new to the whole cord cutting wave, and the Roku made my decision to ditch cable bearable. It’s easy to use and there is more free content than I expected. I’m easily saving $200 per month and I don’t feel like I’m missing anything. I get the extra content I want through the subscription apps, but even so, I have found I only need 3 subscriptions totaling $24. I wish I’d bought it sooner.

I’ve been using roku for a while now and am never disappointed. I started using it so that my mom didn’t have to struggle or ask for my help if she wants to watch something, and she has no issues using it unassisted. This roku in particular is great because of the 4K comparability. Only downside is price, but you can’t argue with supply and demand.

This is the best roku product on the market. When my roku express went out i exchanged it towards this product and could not be happier. Love the product have had no problems and the price was right! Got great customer service to find this item as well at the bellingham washington best buy.

So far so good. Only have it installed a few days. Looks impressive and is holding the temperatures it is set at. We built this into a wall and it looks absolutely amazing.

Very easy to install. There are so many options available to watch with my device. I bought it for a TV in my home that is not part of my cable package. The more I use my Roku I can see the value in cutting the cords to cable. The only downside is I miss my local news show. I have already recommended Roku to a couple of my friends.
