He just told me one of the buds made this horrible screaming sound and died. Tried to take it back to BB they wouldn’t let him return or exchange it. Advised to take to Apple store. I have a pair and they’re still working good thankfully. Hopefully he’ll get a resolution with Apple or I’m out $99 for a crappy set of ear buds. I love mine thus far but I’m wary now that they may not be worth the big price tag.

Beats products are all trash- do not buy

Since 2012, i have now owned and purchased more than 9 beats products, including these beats studio buds. Every single beats product has broken within 6 months or less without fail. The only reason i considered this purchase was because of the free applecare as a total tech member and the hopes the apple acquisition had inproved the quality. Unsurprisingly, i already have a repair appointment set for this product because they have broken. Trust me- skip the beats products, you get more value and durability from the JBL headphone line, even at a <$100 price point. You will regret purchasing this product.
