These were the first Beats headphones I ever owned and I am impressed by the output and comfort, it does start to feel heavy over the ears after prolonged use, but thats about it.

These are great headphones!! they are so comfortable and and really do block out noise both coming in and going out. However, if you do keep these headphones on for too long, they do make your ears hot and heavy. I would say anything longer than 30 minutes straight does make your ears hot.

Love these. I like bass heavy music. These are my favorites. The only negative thing is they hurt my neck if i wear them for more than an hour.

My husband bought these and really took his time reading reviews and going to stores and comparing sizes and sound and comfort - He chose Beats and months after his purchase he is still telling me how much he loves them.

Purchased on Cyber Monday at a great price of $200. Was seeking an upgrade from Skullcandy Grind bluetooth headphones in terms of both sound and fit. The Beats brand makes great looking headphones. Beats also appears to look durable too. No other brands can compare to their style. Now the Skullcandy Grind are not bad sounding headphones at all. However, as I have a large head they feel snug after 30 minutes. Spent 30 minutes comparing the Beats and Skullcandy sound and comfort. I am not sure if Skullcandy is providing great value for under $70 or if Beats are very overpriced but I could not detect any difference between sound quality and comfort. I returned the Beats Studio 3 the following day. A few days later purchased a pair of Bose On Ear for just over $100. Better sound IMHO and lighter and more comfortable

Love the matte black color, very sleek. The fit is comfortable and the noise cancelling feature makes traveling, gym sessions, and times you need to focus easy.

These are super comfortable. Sound is amazing. I think the battery life is not as good as the product states. Not really a big negative though.

I use them primarily for working out at the gym. They're very comfortable and sound pretty good. Wireless was a must have and these are extremally to set up with my android. Got them on sale otherwise I would not have forked over the MSRP.

They pair well, fit well, store well, have excellent battery life and the sound is quality. If the best in class sound is your objective and money is no object, I’d look up to Seinhesser, B&W, Master & Dynamic, etc

So, the short of the long...these are Beat's attempt at the very competitive noise cancelling, wireless headphone market. Do they have a winner? Well, not really but a good contender. The noise cancelling itself is ok, like 3.7/5.0. The build quality is somewhat lacking and they feel a bit fragile when handling them. So far no problems with anything breaking, but, I baby these as they are a decent investment. Sound, is pretty up to par with the Beats family. Although, I did expect a more punchy, responsive bass profile. Overall, good quality and balance of lows and highs. Mids sometimes get muffled or drowned out. Depends on what genre of music and at what volume you listen to. Paring with an Iphone is probably what makes these worth while. They don't loose or drop their connection and the sync up right away without the normal hassle of other brands out there. My advise, don't pay retail price for these, wait until they are on sale. I would value these more around the $179-199.00 price point.
