Had the first pair 6 or 7 years, then the hinges broke where they folded. Wasn’t so happy about that. 1st pair beats sound was really super, compared to second pair studio beats 3. Studio beats 3 could use a little more base. Not complaining they are still a good sounding head phone. They are a little big for my head, they don’t rest on my head as well as the old pair did. Guess I haven’t figured out the noise canceling part because I can still hear everything that goes on around me. But the real reason I bought them was to use with the tv. They work fantastic, at least I don’t bother anyone when watching movies at night. Conclusion - worth it.
