I mainly bought them for working out which does the job very well. The noise canceling blocks out all the back ground noise in the gym so I can stay focus.

They are pricey but I got them on sale, so they were worth the price. Bass is very good on 90% of songs. Be careful if you use them in the gym. The sweat can short them out.
