Bought it fas a birthday gift for my adult son. He loved it that he can use the headphones to work out and they won’t fall out like the wireless earphones.

I really wanted to love them because it’s now an Apple product so connectivity is super cool and easy. I’m annoyed that I have to return them because the cup sizes are small. They press on my ears and I don’t have big ears. After about 2 hours my ears get sore, and while I appreciated the adequate pressure they have to stay on my head, it’s not good if you wear glasses. It smashes my glasses arms into my head and down on my ears. It’s just soreness after a mere couple of hours. I have a pair of gaming over ear headphones that feel comfortable, always, and never makes my ears hurt. I hear Sony makes comfortable headphones so I’m going to return these and try another brand. I had Solo’s before and thought the discomfort was because the cups were so small. The Studio 3 cups are bigger but not big enough to actually be OVER eat. I don’t think I need to comment on the sound quality or the ANC considering I can’t even keep them. It also doesn’t make sense that they don’t come with software to modify the equalizer settings. It’s just the one setting it comes as. Even for $150 on Black Friday I can’t justify that price for this quality. Build seems nice and it definitely looks pretty, it’s just not comfortable and not customizable.

Since buying our first pair here, we remain Beats fans. They have a great sound and they’re built tough.

Pros 1. On/off noise cancelation 2. Extreamly fast charging 3. Easy audio controlls (on headset) 4. Great sound quality as you'd expect (wired/wireless) Cons 1. They can be a little tight, Irritating your ears after long hours of use but it may vary. In conclusion i love the product and would highly reccomend it to music lovers especally college students

Ok so I love bass intensive music so naturally I’m drawn to these. Not a ton different than the studio wireless 2. Biggest difference is switching between apple devices with the W1 chip. Construction and look is exactly the same. First time I listened to music on these they sounded muffled. I realized that I had the eq on the phone set to bass booster. Switched that to classical and got a better rounded sound. This lead me to believe that they may have a deeper bass bias vs the 2 or just need time to break in. For $212 and selling the old ones, the upgrade is worth it. Don’t upgrade if your old set is working fine unless you switch apple devices constantly.

I mainly listen to EDM and DJ. This Beats Studio 3 is loud, good noise cancelling, wireless, and offers a lot of bass without distort the volume. It's my favorite pair beside Apple AirPods.
