I've owned many high end headphones and in-ear monitors including Etymotic Research, Shure, Apple Airpods, Bose, etc. After recently developing some sort of allergy to my Airpods, I figured I'd give a pair of over ear headphones a try. This is my first pair of active noise canceling headphones as I have generally preferred noise isolation. We'll start there. Noise Canceling: It's either on or off. Other brands give you more control over the amount of noise canceling. With ANC on, you will hear a light hissing if not playing audio. When on, it works very well at canceling ambient noise. Voices or irregular noises will be muted (I'm assuming mostly due to isolation rather than ANC) but not completely blocked. Sound Quality: On par with my Bose Sportsound Wireless. It's tuned to the lower frequencies so bass is generally exaggerated. Let's be honest though, you are buying Beats for the bass and not for flat frequency response. Comfort: The earpads fit comfortably over my ears. The headband seems comfortable enough. It doesn't mess up my hair and I don't even notice it's resting on my head. My only complaint is that wearing the headphones for extended periods tends to cause my ears to sweat. Battery Life: Compared to all the "true" wireless earbuds, the battery life is amazing. I use my headphones for 3-4 hours of phone conferences on top of 3-4 hours of music/video playback every day and I charge about every 5-6 days. I was constantly switching and charging my Airpods during conference calls. Durability: Just under a month in and they seem fine. I'm generally careful with my items but my initial reservations were around durability and availability of replacement parts. There seem to be a decent amount of aftermarket parts available for reasonable prices. Conclusion: I paid $199 and I don't think you can find a better name brand ANC headphone at that price point. I wouldn't have paid the retail price of $350. Pairing with an iPhone is just as easy as the Airpods which is a huge plus. I'm docking 1 star due to the folding design. It's about the size of a pineapple minus the stem for reference.

First of all, I’m not an audiophile person but i love listen to all kind of music. This is my first noise cancellation. It does what it suppose to, not all noise are filter when you turn it on, the oustide noise level is reduce significantly. However, once you turn on your favorite tunes/stations. Those noise quickly disappear leaving behind the enjoyment of listen to your music. The sound are crisp and loud. However, if i turn the bass up too high. I could hear some crackling in the bass but who gonna crank the volume with bass up that loud. Maybe in my previous car sound system that run two 12 solobaric kickers has spoiled me. Hey i love this headphones, i got many compliment on the color scheme. Very classy color combo look. I wear this at my work and at the gym. However, if you plant to use this at the gym, be aware after you break the first sweat, thing will get heat up on the ear pretty quickly. Other than that, i love it and at the sale price of $250 it an easy no brainer between the Bose. Btw. I got one of my co-worker to get one too. He too lovin it. I hope this last.

Got these for Christmas for my Fiancé and she loves them! She says they are really comfortable and they sound great for just listening to music and watching shows while she's working. They dont get too hot on her head either and dont pinch her ears unless she is wearing her glasses.

Love these, picked up on sale 199$ and worth every penny. Clear sound amazing noise canceling - wonderful during air travel. Extremely comfortable continuous use 6+ hours and still comfortable no ear pain etc. I was skeptical - but compared these to the 250$ Sony and the 350$ Bose .. the Beats are every bit the quality and imo way more comfortable.

Noise cancellation and sound quality are great! Perfect for working out. Not super loud but loud enough.

My 10 year old grandson has noise sensitivity issues. He can’t stand to hear his little brother’s noises and video sounds (I know, but even worse than just bros being bros). He tried them and was finally able to enjoy his own videos in peace. Everyone is happy. He still hears any high pitched noises, but still, big difference. Worth every penny.

I normally will use my Apple Air Pods for everyday use, with the one exception: Yard Work. AIN'T NO way I am risking those while working outside. I saw these on sale and said why not. I am glad that I did. I am not sure what active noise cancellation is, but after using these to cut my lawn.. ANC is worth it. Very comfortable to wear and the battery life is simply awesome. Glad I purchased them..

First, the Porcelain Rose color is phenomenal. This color honestly looks great no matter what gender you are. The fit and finish is also what we've all come to expect from Beats over the years. The pairing process is as simple as the Air Pods in that you just hold them close to your iPhone and it will automatically connect - EASY! These headphones also stay paired. I'm able to walk around a 750 square foot property and leave the phone in one room and have music and phone conversations move with me seamlessly. The music quality is a bit bass heavy, which would be my only knock. I got these over the Bose QC II 35 because these were (at the time) $150 less and to me, sounded comparable. I'm not one to care about the logos on headphones, and the Bose won me over on its subtle but effective design, but for $150 difference I would wear any color on my head. The active noise cancellation is good and can be turned on and off via the bluetooth menu in iOS. Pairing to other iOS devices is a breeze as well and if you are trying to pair to Android or another platform, it's the same as any other BT device - although I don't believe you are getting the advertised battery life this way due to Apple using their proprietary W1 chip for iOS devices. Great headphones that have come a long way since their first-generation.
