So many critics hated this movie and continued to bash it even as it continued to succeed. I understand it's not your standard light movie, but as a comic fan, it was excellent. Sometimes the edit room cuts are obvious, but DC's advantage (and I love both DC and Marvel) is that it has so many GREAT bad guys. It's the Vaders and the Hannibal Lecter's that often make a movie, and DC has the Joker, Harley, Penguin, Two-Face and so many others in their universe. Many of these bad guys aren't familiar, but they are mostly memorable. Deadshot is given a great story and I never cared for him before watching this. Enjoy!

Suicide Squad is a great film that I enjoyed in the theater. People were saying that Suicide Squad was a bad and messy film. I'm not saying it was perfect or complete but I felt this film was a lot better then Batman V Superman(Not including extended edition). The story was strong Suicide Squad had a lot of good interesting things about it. Will Smith did a great job as dead shot. Killer Croc was awesome and the Joker was the weakest character in the movie. Batman was great but wish he was in the movie a little more. Overall it was a great comic movie not better then anything Marvel made last year but Marvel is on a different level. The extended edition is movie is good not much added that changed my attitude about the movie overall.

I bought the Blue-Ray, DVD and Digital HD package and with the Extras it was well worth the price. Not to put the movie down but I wanted to like it a lot more then I did. Most of the Squad was not memorable at all. The CGI for the villains look fake as if they where not there. I was getting a little bored towards the ending with the bad guys. We all know that “the first cut is the deepest” and Suicide Squad Extended Cut didn't cut deep enough to make it go on as a classic. The potential is there for a sequel if we get to see more of Joker and Harley. Overall, I still liked the movie!

The film could have been better, with such a diverse cast, I expected the movie to be a little more entertaining. Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn was the best thing about this film.

This edition of the movie is well worth watching. The additional scenes bring depth to the characters and add comedic value to the movie which I think in the theatrical release was sorely lacking. Overall it is a good addition to the current DC movie series. Don't listen to the haters. They get all caught up in the hyperbole that precedes movies and expect far more than they should because it seems in this age everyone expects everything to outdo what has come before and that isn't always the case. Is it the best movie I've ever seen? No, but it's worth a watch.

I was suprised how much I enjoyed this movie. I was expecting to be amused and disgusted. Mind you, I love the comic book movies but I had been hearing terrible reviews by friends and horrible things about the misogynistic nature of the movie. Yeah, there was quite a bit if that, but contrary to most things I heard there was a story and the other characters had just as much screen time as Harley Quinn's... assets... did. The 4k blue ray is amazing, clear and the colors are amazing. It was like I was looking at somithing happening outside my window, only better than reality. Plenty of fun extras are on the disk, including a gag real. A digital copy is included too.

U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren't picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it's every man for himself?

This movie was great but continues in the dark tone established in Batman v. Superman. The action was great. You may be disappointed in the portrayal of the Joker as Heath Ledger's most recent portrayal of the character is still in everyone's mind and thus the measuring stick for the character now. The only thing I would though say is this is a PG-13 movie so be careful with the little ones as it does have some suggestive acting in it that might not be appropriate for viewers. This is a movie though you want to own to watch again and again to see Easter eggs through out the film and to review key plot elements you might have missed the first time around.

Although the movie did have some odd pacing, and cliches applied to it...it was nice to see this set of villains brought together on the new age big screen for the first time. The video was solid, a semi film like grain applied to most shots, although there were some splashes of HDR rich color such as during the colorful on screen intro of characters. The sound was solid, plenty of bass and surrounds you would expect from a blockbuster. I think it is a solid buy, especially if you haven't seen the film yet. Also the 4k Steelbook is one major BONUS!

A great idea that does not pull it off. All of the characters and actors do a decent enough job, but the story has a lot of holes in it and the big bad bad guy comes off as stupid as she constantly does the "walk like an Egyptian", it looks ridiculous. Dead Shot is great, Harley Quinn is great, and the Joker is good, although some fans might not recognize that this Joker is the gangster style Joker instead of the Dark Knight's Joker. If you are a hard core fan, then you already bought this film, if you are not, then wait for it come out on Netflix.

I set my bar low for this movie as I'm a Harley Quinn fan girl and I absolutely loathed this re-imagining of her. I was way surprised that I enjoyed it as much as I did. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't even remotely follow any cannon and it's far from comic book movie glory, but I liked it enough to splurge on a variant and add it to my collection as soon as it came out - that had everything to do with Robbie and Leto's characters. Everyone else was easily forgotten, even if Smith swears up and down he was in the movie, too. Now, my biggest complaint is this specific Graphic Novel packaging - Is it really that hard to package the book with a *SEPARATE* movie case?! I mean, c'mon - who wants to tote around your disk collection while you're reading on the go? Never mind the fact that this thing won't even fit on your blu-ray shelf! Nope, it has to be included with your books. So 1-star knock off because the movie was really good, but not amazing, a 2-star knock off for the outrageous price to include the graphic novel, but the manufacturer couldn't spring for a decent stand-alone variant case for the disks, and I'll throw 1 of those stars back on because unlike the 4k steel book variant, this one at least gives you BOTH theatrical and extended cuts for the Blu-ray format.

During the entire movie there were periods were the cd had a second of a black out. Thought it was just the movie bu have watched it on streaming, no glitch.

Suicide Squad is a fun and entertaining movie. It does a good job of introducing new characters to the DC movie universe. Smith, Robbie, and Davis put on great performances, and really embody their comic characters. There are some editing issues and you can tell where the studio executives interfered , but nothing that takes you out of the action. Hopefully in the future, the studio executives leave the movies alone and trust what the directors produce. The same happened with BvS. If they do, the future is bright for DC movies.

This movie was better than I expected because the critics were so harsh...I saw it in IMAX 3D but found it to be to dark, blurry & not really improved by being in 3D. I bought the regular Blu-Ray, not 3D or 4K because the directors cut or extended cut is ONLY 1080p. The theatrical version is 4K, the 3D theatrical is 4k but my opinion is, the best version available is the extended version, 1080p Blu-ray. Was kinda let down that the only steelbook was a $35 4K steelbook...lame. There should have been a $25 Blu-ray steelbook too.

It was entertaining enough. Not as good as the Marvel movies, but better than "Justice League". Glad my local Best Buy had it on sale for only $10.

I am a huge huge huge comic book fan. DC and Marvel. So I do know the source material for Suicide squad very well. I had an idea what I was in for, many movie reviewers did NOT. They all said "too many bad guys" or "Lazy script". I have to say it was leaps and bounds better than Batman V Superman. I did feel the introductions were a bit rushed but when you have only 2 hours to tell a story....it is going to happen unfortunately. All in all, its a fun, fast, and decent portrayal of the comic book.

As I stated, this movie was better than I had expected. Bought the Blu-ray with low expectations due to the let down of some of the previous DC movies that have come out. (Batman vs. Superman i.e.) Suicide Squad did not disappoint. Will Smith proved again to be a good addition to another super hero movie. Great cast all around. Nice tie-in to the future Justice League movie coming out. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that the special effects on the enemy was a little on the unreal side.

I've always have been a big DC fan and honestly it's been hurting a little how much negativity comes whenever any DC movie is launched. It seems people are looking way too much into their movies. This is an ACTION packed movie which introduces some really cool "bad guys". It's going to be interesting seeing these characters come back in future movies. I would recommend to anyone that wants to watch an action packed roller coaster where you can see some of the humanity on these villains.

OK, so this movie received a lot of bad press. But a film that grossed 745 million dollars couldn't be all bad. I am not a die hard DC comics follower. But I loved the stars and the diverse characters they played. For a script that was written in six weeks, it really was a pretty fun movie. The witch and brother duo was a little over the top, but the rest of the DC characters were a hoot! 3D especially makes action films like these so much more fun to watch!

I thought the movie was ok. DC is trying to get different properties off the ground. Left things open for a sequel, we'll see if one happens.
