This was a good movie. Kind of bummed that the 4K version doesn't include the extended version. I purchased the 4K version for a reason of not having to watch it in standard blu-ray. But this movie was really cheap at the time of purchase so I'm not that unset. Good movie if you like comic book characters. Nothing like the Marvel movies we are all used to but more of natural human capable powers (for the majority of the characters). Hope they make more movies in this series.

I was a little leery of purchasing this DVD based on what a lot of the critics were saying about this movie, but I bit and I am glad I did. The acting was dead on with most of the characters, the special effects were good, and overall the movie was very enjoyable. The only qualm I can see anybody having is that they could have spent more time introducing characters for the people who didn't know anything about the Suicide Squad in the comics before seeing this movie.

I loved this movie. I know it is not the current "thing" to go out of the box in thinking because reviewers and critics rule many people's enjoyment of a film, but Suicide Squad is fun! It is a bunch of really bad people forced to do good things. It is like the comics have been, over the years. They did a good job with this movie, and it is a way better film than Batman V Superman. Get this and watch it! Enjoy it for what it is, not what everyone thinks it should be. Danny

This movie was a shocker and much more interesting than expected. Multi criminals fighting a spirit with a crazy marine commander. The most interesting characters were Will Smith and Margo Robbie's character. The joker was very interesting. Lots of fun and twists and turns. Definitely a Saturday afternoon movie which you should turn your brain off and enjoy the ride. Good action and interesting background/setup. Will be interested in seeing the sequel. Recommended.

This movie was alright. It is not the worst movie in the world and had some good moments. I like Will Smith in this movie too.

Suicide Squad is a solid effort dealing with the 'dark' side of the DC Comics Universe where the bad guys become good guys in a sense. Of course being bad never really goes away but it shows how fine of a line it actually is. Harley Quinn steals the show and for good reason. Margot Robbie is sexy insane and is perfect for the role. I was really surprised on how much I liked Will Smith as Deadshot. The rest of the cast is pretty good as well. The action is really good and effects are spot on. I would highly recommend this movie in either movie or extended cut.

Finally DC's wonderful Blockbuster that doesn't leave you disappointed.a Nonstop Action film from beginning to end. Our anticipation of the Rogues Gallery finally on the big screen. wonderful, featuring an all-star cast. leaves you wanting to explore the history of the villains in the Batman and DC Universe! wonderful, and probably the best superhero( non-superhero, bad guy)film of the year! wonderful in 3D, beautiful colors and jaw-dropping special effects. awesome price and makes a great Christmas present for any comic lover, and great for the whole family!

Steelbook artwork is great. Inside artwork is also pretty decent. The movie itself is polarizing to say the least. I found the movie average at best but I know quite a few people who enjoyed it thoroughly. But if you are reading this review, you are probably more interested in the steelbook than the movie as you probably know enough about the movie. I personally would really like embossing on steelbooks and this one is not. Overall, still a pretty decent steelbook

Although this is not the special edition steelbook or many of the other special editions available, this is a very good value for those that want to own this movie. It does feature a very nice cardboard slipcase and the package includes all versions of the film worth owning. 3D Bluray, Bluray and Digital Copy. I purchased this item on sale and am very happy with my purchase. All of the special features available on other editions are here as well so if you aren't too picky about needing the steelbook this is a great overall value.

I like the movie when it came out but this extended version is even better. I just wish they had more Joker scenes and that some of the cut scenes shown in the commercials were left intact, I still enjoyed the film and am looking forward to the next DC Movie coming out. I just wish that they would leave the full versions for showing at the Cinema instead of releasing these extended versions later. A full movie no matter how long it is would be more enjoyable!

This movie has its flaws, must be honest about that but it is still an enjoyable ride. Will Smith is well fit for the DC movie universe. There are scenes that seem non important but the action is very extreme and cool to look at. The Joker could have been in it a little more and Amanda Waller could have been more ruthless. The cameos are fun and the set up for a larger DC universe was done well. A movie worth watching if you are a fan of DC and comics.

Suicide Squad is a must have movie with it's vivid picture and sound effects, it will maximize your home theater system. It has phenomenal action scenes and characters that you'll bond with as they become a team. Suicide Squad manages to find its place in the DC Universe as a bridge between the Batman V. Superman movie and the upcoming Justice League movie, but make no mistakes it could easily hold its own as a stand alone movie. This one is a must add to your collection if you're looking for a quality movie for the ultimate home theater system!

Regardless of what critics and naysayers said, Suicide Squad is a nice break from the serious films of the DCEU we've seen with Man of Steel and Batman v. Superman. The extended scenes fill in more with the story in regards to the Squad and their leader and the relationship between Harley and Joker. The behind the scenes were great to watch and I felt sorry for the cast and crew as they had to endure so much BS from the crowd that hated it since Day 1.

DC is struggling. Whereas Marvel zeroed in on the tone they wanted to strike with their cinematic universe from the very first Iron Man, DC has labored to find what they want to do with theirs. As someone who greatly prefers Superman and Batman, etc. to Marvel's heroes, DC's current slate is frustrating to say the least. This movie, while funner and lighter in tone than BvS, is still plagued by a weak-ish story. That said, it's fine for a popcorn flick.

The movie is fun to watch; specially Harley Quinn ( Margot Robbie) which is basically the best character in the movie. The problem is that the 4k BD is far darker than the standard BD. It is so dark some scenes are impossible to see actors faces or see the action. My Samsung TV does not support HDR so I was able only to play with the bright controls and get something decent; but it was better to see the standard BD included. You can of

Not a fan of DC, but this was entertaining and visually pleasing. I did really like will smith as deadshot and Margot Robbie as Harley. Jared Letos take on joker I think could have been fleshed out more. If that happened I think his take on joker would have been just as iconic as Heath ledger. I know that's a huge statement to make but Jared is an amazing actor and artist and I can not wait to see him portray this villain in future DC films.

I didn't have high expectations for this movie given the relatively poor word of mouth, but was pleasantly surprised - just don't expect something as good as an Avengers movie. Biggest issue for me was that it felt like they tried to introduce too many characters. I watched the extended cut and don't know what was added, but it probably helped the character development and cohesiveness - I imagine that the theatrical cut would have been worse.

I am not familiar with this group. in my opinion, the movie was pretty good. apart from J.L as the joker that i personally hate, never thought i would come across a joke character that i totally dislike. even the 1960 joke was better than this or the cartoon version. this dude sucks as a great character. thank God the other Members pulled it off making this movie salvageable. Amanda Whaler is a beast.

The movie is ok at best. Plot holes, story flow, rushed story, not enough Joker, stuff I am sure you have heard now about the movie. There are a few interesting extras in this set. A few more scenes with the Joker that would have made the movie better if they were included in the theatrical version. I love the steelbook & have really started collecting those. It is a plus! The price though is a little high for what you are actually getting.

I get that every time comic book characters get a new adaptation (whether it be movies, animated series or traditional comics) they're going to change to the vision of the writer, however, this vision was pretty misguided. I felt like the movie was trying too hard to convince me that these were "bad guys" without actually letting them be bad guys (does that make sense? lol). The humor also felt a bit forced to me, and there was wayyyy too much Harley/Joker backstory detracting from the story. I understand that they need to introduce the characters, but a lot of it was unnecessary to the plot--save it for a batman movie. Also I feel a more covert, out of the public eye mission would have been better for a story line instead of a large-scale mass destruction of the city route they took. It didn't really fit the characters and felt like a generic superhero plot that they just happened to drop the suicide squad into. Lastly, it's called "Suicide Squad" for the reason that a lot of the characters are supposed to get killed off...but in this they don't. If they want to save Deadshot and Harley for future movies I understand, but you need to make some of the other ones more expendable.
