The movie was everything the DC Universe needs at this juncture. The story was slightly simplistic but that saves it from also being convoluted like comic book movies can be. The characters were portrayed in a light that made them loveable despite the fact they're villains and not typically protagonists. The Blu-ray features were plentiful and the extended cut of the film, while not adding lots more, still further increased my love for the film. Highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys action movies with comedy spliced in.

Not the best. Will Smith bothered me. The direction of it all bothered. Not a 'bad' movie. Just could've been better

The movie started out with a pretty good premise and the actors fit their roles perfectly; I felt the storyline dwindled somewhat into the cliche action/superhero story that we've we become so familiar with. Great chemistry between actors, especially Will Smith and Margot Robbie, as well as Robbie with her onscreen lover ( The Joker, played by Jared Leto). Overall, another entertaining, artful foray into the DC/Warner multiverse.

I don't get all the hate this movie gets. I personally applaud DC for the way they present their movie universe. So it's different from marvel. Who cares! I liked the story. The main villain is a bit of a weak choice but does it's job. The joker is the biggest let down. Too worried about Harley when traditionally he doesn't really care that much and just uses her. Plus his appearance is just... They try too hard to make him menacing.

I enjoyed the movie very much. A lot of action and good special effects. I didnt care for the monster much. They are starting to do that alot. Too many phony looking monsters..However, I did like the movie and will buy it on blu-ray. I would see it over a few times. In fact I think I'll watch it again today. It's a good rainy day movie. I particularly liked Margot Robbie. She stole the show.. Go see it or better yet, go buy the movie.

A different take on superhero movies. This finds an interesting mix between action comedy and weirdness. I hope they continue with this series and develop more of the characters. I did find however the Joker I miss Heath Ledger. Appears spoiler alert Batman will be featured in a future version of the sequel to this film. Considering that DC movies always seem to fall short of the mark this one does go above that and is fun to watch.

From the looks of it this could be another multi movie franchise from DC Comics, and this was a good movie to start it off with. The Joker was not in or the center spotlight of the movie. This was more about the Squad and how they formed. So if you are looking for an all Joker movie this is not it. I would assume that DC will make another movie with the Joker as the main character at some point. Over all this was a good movie from start to finish and would recommend to watch even if your not a "comic book movie" fan.

Suicide Squad had many flaws as a movie, but as a villain centered flick, I feel it had flaws in some of the character building regarding Joker and Harley. However, the writing wasn't terrible, but it could have been better and while not exactly DC's best, I'll take it over Clooney era Bats. How often do we get a movie like this? I love the OST and while the villain was weak, the real villain was always Waller.

Definitely not what a Suicide Squad movie should have been. They should've just made the Joker the main villain. It would've been more interesting. Jared Leto's Joker isn't the best portrayal, but could've still been interesting to watch what else he does with the role. Some great actions sequences and funny moments. The extended edition adds a few extra scenes, most notably between Harley Quinn and The Joker. Not much else.

I loved this movie! It is a very comic inspired style movie. Harley's first on screen rendition as well. The Joker was different but, not horrible. It was made to seem that he would be in the movie a lot more than what he actually was. The Extended Cut helped out the story in my opinion somewhat like the Extended Cut did for BvS. Do not let Marvel fan boys act like it is Marvel or die. These DC movies have met my expectations!

Suicide Squad is fun, action packed, and leaves you wanting more. The film is the 3rd entry of DC Comics cinematic universe, the DC Extended Universe, following Man of Steel and Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Suicide Squad has great special effects and pretty solid CGI. It make lack a bit in the story department. As far as the BluRay goes, its fine enough. Some featurettes and the like. Warner Bros. continues to link their digital copies via a cloyd based system, Ultraviolet. Solid, normal release.

This movie tied in much better than i would have anticipated with batman v superman. It was dark and fun which is hard to do with a bunch of bad guys. There were a couple things i did not care for but overall still 5 stars to me. Example the witch dancing the night away summoning power was laughable...i thought will smith was good and margot robbie was great. Jared leto was very good as joker for me. My favorite characters in the movie were probably captain boomerang and Rick Flag and definatly harley quinn.

I'm going to be honest: This isn't my favorite movie, but it's also not nearly as bad as I heard from reviewers. I went in with pretty low expectations and came out enjoying it quite a lot. It's a fun movie, more of a ride than something "making a big statement." I can see a lot of promise for the characters and I hope they make a sequel. I'd like to skip some of the "character intro" bits and see them get down to business.

I saw the film on the big screen and decided to add it to my collection. Very happy there was a 3D version in the initial release. The extra scenes are nice but not compelling. Will Smith is the headliner but Margot Robbie steals the show with her over the top performance. DC purists seem to have a lot of issues with the film's departure from comic scripture but I found this movie to be an enjoyable action packed adventure.

If you love comic book movies this is right up your alley. This is from the same world of Man of Steal, Batman vs Superman, and the new Wonder Woman movies. It takes place right after the events of Batman vs Superman. This is about the bad guys from that world be forced to do good. The movie does explain who the charters are so if you don't know anything about them, it is alright. The movie is a lot of fun to watch

I enjoyed this movie, since some of the characters haven't been explored on the big screen you can watch without an former opinion. Margot Robbie steals the show, but Jared Leto seemed more like a angry love sick psycho gangster than the joker. He had no humor in his crazy at all. I see why they added him in to show how crazy Harlequin is, still we could have spent some of that time learning more about the other characters.

I am still partial to Christian Bale's Batman, and believe MIchael Keaton played the character best, but this movie brings alive some new characters for DC. Of the newer movies they have produced (pretty much the ones since "Man of Steel" that are supposed to tie together), this one in my opinion is the best. Lots of characters, and most are pretty good and at the very least interesting. Very good movie with a good cast.

This is better than the original Bestbuy Exclusive 4K steelbook. I like the glossy feel and it's a breathe of fresh air (design wise). Unfortunately, it doesn't include a 4K disc or the non extended edition version. For me, a collectible steel should have all the bells and whistles as well as new special features, but I can't complain for the price of $19.99. This should be considered for collectors.

I honestly thought this movie was great in every way. I loved the way the director put a little bit of everything like action, comedy, adventure, fantasy and sci fi and combined it all together honesty very well done. I honestly think this is one of the best dc comics films of the year 2016 Great cast and crew and great production in general not to mention great great performances that are unforgettable.

I was wary of this one because of all of the negative buzz but I was pleasantly surprised. I liked it a lot. There's a lot of focus on Harley and Deadshot which makes sense with what is planned for future DCEU films. I also thought there was just enough Batman and Joker to support the story. What I liked most is the way I felt they made this feel realistic and very comic-booky at the same time. It's worth checking out.
