Overall this is a pretty good movie. Quinn makes the film as the other characters are after thoughts

Fair movie although there is little or no character development for the majority of the characters (just a quick scene showing how they got sent to prison) with the exceptions of Harley Quinn and Deadshot. Because of this you really don't care about the characters and have no idea as to what makes them tick. Once a basic backstory introduces you to the characters the story moves quickly maybe too quickly.

Ensemble cast is put together of misfits to battle supervillians. The story has been told before but enjoyable nonetheless. The special effects are good. The good guys aren't so good and the bad ones aren't so bad. If your looking at the movie with the vision of a typical critic or DC comic fan, you'll find something to pick at. If you're looking for 2 hours of action entertainment, you'll find the time well spent.

With an interesting cast & a great premise, I wanted to enjoy SUICIDE SQUAD much more than I did. It was dark and violent (I've only watched the extended cut) while still preserving the comic book feel of a Batman off-shoot. Affleck's cameo's as the Dark Knight helped this to form a decent-enough brick in the temple of the Justice League. I guess the hyper-modern style & storytelling aspects pushed me away, rather than hyping me up. The character intros at the start are fun in a video game way, but that style doesn't really convey the depth or grit for our rogue's gallery that is attempted later through flashbacks. Will Smith & Margot Robbie steal the show, with Joel Kinnaman coming across as a dad with a headache trying to be cool AND stern on his visitation weekend. Jared Leto's Joker looks and acts more like a counterpart to the South African hip hop duo Die Antwoord than the majorly damaged-but-dangerous chaos factor he maybe should be. At any rate, the movie has its moments, feeling a bit like a GHOSTBUSTERS riff along the way. I don't want my 2+ hours back, but I didn't love the movie. If curious, do the only reasonable thing: Watch!

Suicide Squad, what to say about the movie as it better than Batman V Superman. But for the Blu-ray itself, it is really good, the 4K picture quality is really good, the special features are great to see the behind the scenes, and the extended cut is interesting, to say the least. If you saw the film in theaters and like it, this is the one to pick up on Blu-ray. Did I mention this version is a steelbook bound/

This movie would be just okay if it weren't SO MUCH FUN. It's a very basic plot line, with some rough CGI (but hey, it's DC, what do you expect?). But the characters drive it well and keep it interesting. Good comedy, mixed with some intense action and drama, make it great. I don't know what the extra 11 minutes are. There was only one scene that I didn't recognize, but it was probably only 2-3 minutes.

The story is just ok but the quirkiness of the characters is what made it an enjoyable enough movie. This movie is one of those to just enjoy for what it is and not take too seriously because yes, it does have lots of flaws. Leto did a great job although I could understand how some people see this movie as "too dark" for their taste. Overall, just a fun comic movie if you're good at just being able to enjoy it.

I don't understand the solid, negative reviews this movie received. So the villains don't always act villainous and it turns into a formulaic movie where these contrasting characters find a way to co-exist and save the day. It was still a fun ride. Realize you're watching a comic book movie, it's somewhat a sequel to Batman vs. Superman and a set-up for Justice League. With that, it's some good escapist fare.

Went into this with pretty low expectations, but were pleasantly surprised. Other than the odd portrayal of the Joker, the characters were all very likeable and endearing. The action was great and the story itself had a cohesive flow that moved things forward nicely. In terms of the bluray, the picture was gorgeous with vibrant colors that popped and nice, clean lines. Very enjoyable and highly recommended!

If you are buying this for 3D then its two thumbs up. If you are buying this for the extra scenes, don't waste your money. I watched the extended edition with my kids and we did not notice which scenes were extra. We had previously saw the movie in the theatre. At less then $20 its worth it for the 3D. Otherwise, wait until you can get the regular edition blu ray for $15 or less to add it to your collection.

I did not go see it at the movies, I waited. As I was not to sure if it was going to be good or not. I must say I was surprised by how good it was. I was a little disappointed with how they did the makeup for Killer Croc, other than that it was on point. The action and the character dialogue was good. The visual was really great, have to give it to the CGI guys. I would most definitely recommend this movie.

3d was good, the plot was average, the acting was good. I would call it a good an entertaining movie.

If you have already seen the movie, the extended scenes will not change your opinion, either you still liked it or did not. Tthe disc provides solid Picture and Audio quality and will give your theatre some good reference materials. I waited to purchase this disc until a few months after release because Warner Bros is terrible at pricing their discs. Don't pay more than $20 dollars for a standard Blu Ray.

Jared Leto's Joker was a miss for me, but I absolutely respect the work he put in to establishing his take on the role. It needed to be a homerun given that he is the most known villain in the DCU, but he obviously had a tough act to follow in Heath Ledger. Will Smith is excellent as Bullseye. Solid entertainment here but still feels like a bit of a missed opportunity.

I personally hate this movie. Bought as a gift for brother in law. he's happy, so I'm happy.

I really like many of the comic book characters DC has (I'm more of a Marvel person, but like many DC characters) and I really like the Harley Quinn comic book character, Joker, Batman, etc. That being said, this movie felt a bit scattered. It could be the editing of the film and how it was directed (the actors were good). If you want a movie to watch because there isn't anything better, this will be OK.

This is a movie using miner characters, however, using Will Smith brings it up several notches!! Fun movie to watch! Thank You Best Buy for having it in 3D!!! The only way to watch!! Thank you Best Buy for your video section!! I'm dependent on you for my home entertainment. Please DON'T STREAM!! Streaming is good as far as it goes, however you're totally dependent on someone else's server!! That gives them way too much power on what you watch!! I want a hard copy in my hand!!!

So, Superman Returns was an emo-fest, Man of Steel was a slightly less emo emo-fest, and Batman v Superman was a train wreck. DC has NOT been on a roll lately. Suicide Squad was a step in the right direction, though. It stayed mostly true to the characters, didn't take itself too seriously, and tried to have fun. While it definitely has flaws, I enjoyed it more than I expected, and that is a good sign.

It was $4 so figured why not. Wouldn’t have purchased this unless it was under $5 so score!

Not sure what to think of this movie. It's all over the place. At least Margot Robbie looks hot in it.
