A bunch of third string D C comic villains get a chance to take some time off of their sentences by "volunteering" for a suicide mission that they are not expected to survive. Clearly some will, or there would be no sequels. The Blu-ray includes the theatrical and the extended versions. This is worth it if only for Harley Quinn. She steals the movie. The Joker, on the other hand, is a WIMP. This is a problem with some villains in recent movies. Harley more than makes up for this.

Not a bad movie, good action. Extended edition is much better but I wish it was that version was in 3d.

Entertaining, this movie follows a group of villains, and villainess gathered together by the government (after being captured for crimes they committed) to save the world from an evil sorcerous and her brother from another dimension. Definitely a different twist (a dark twist) showing how even villains can sometimes turn into hero's (even if forced to begin with) for a good cause.

In this film many well known super villains are gathered together and put onto a team. Their goal rather than cause their normal chaos, save the world from sure destruction at the hands of a witch. Starring: Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc. Jared Leto cameos as The Joker.

This was actually a gift for my daughter. She saw it twice in theatres and asked me to buy this for Christmas. Fun movie with a good beginning to mid point. It's at this point in the movie where plot and action get silly however watching non traditional heroes is a welcomed thing. The Harley Quinn and Joker background story and scenes are the best. I definitely recommend you watch this movie.

Suicide Squad is DC Comics first teaming of the super villains as a group of expendables under government supervision sent in to defeat an enigmatic, invincible entity. Great performances by Jared Leto, and Margot Robbie as Joker/Harley Quinn. The film is loaded with great action, photography, editing, special effects and excellent classic rock songs from the 70's!! This film directly follows Batman vs. Superman Dawn of Justice and has cameos by Batman and The Flash!!

I did not see this movie in the theater because of the mixed reviews but now I really regret it after watching the DVD. I found the movie completely enjoyable. I always feel people try to compare theses kind of movies to the actual comic book and not take it for what it really is...just a movie to take you to a different place for 2 hours and take your mind off what's happening around you.

The suicide squad movie is a wonderful DC franchise that hasn't been tapped into till now. The movie that I purchased was wrapped well and played perfectly. I did like the vast character development and the multiple engagements that the movie surprised me with. I wish that the enemy had a little more detail to their character and that the enemy drones weren't so stupid. Sorry DC but what the heck, you could do better than that. All in All I really enjoyed the movie.

All movie reviews on this movie was bad. So I did not expect much before watching the movie. But overall, it was not bad. Harley Quinn is the only one start shining in this movie. It is its destiny to be compared with Marvell Cinematic Universe. Compared with MCU, it has lots of missing parts in the story telling, but just as a popcorn movie, it was OK.

I liked this movie. I know many people did not but I think there is too high of expectations when it comes to comic book movies now. This was meant to be a blow 'em up, bad guys being bad movie which is what it was. Some steam was lost by the end which happens too often which made the ending not perfect. But overall this movie did what it was meant to do, have you escape for a couple hours.

I saw this movie the first day it came out at the movie theaters. After seeing it on the big screen I knew I was going to have to buy it for my home collection. Will Smith and Margot Robbie are great together as usual. Jared Leto isn't bad as the Joker either (no one can ever replace Heath Ledger). The movie moves swiftly along and I never found myself getting bored once. I wouldn't let my 10 year old nephew watch it though because it might be kind of scary to him.

Definitely not the best movie ever made but for the DCU it’s definitely one of the better movies

I saw this in the theaters last summer and ignored the reviews and I actually enjoyed it. It's not as bad as some will say. Could it have been better? Absolutely!! I wish there were more scenes of the Joker because he seemed to be the most interesting of the bunch. Of course Harley Quinn was the most talked-about as expected. She did not disappoint. Overall, it was an enjoyable movie.

Decent story line draws you in to root for the underdog. Granted, the super hero/bad guy saves the day plot is really over-used lately, but this was a decent romp with good acting, snappy sarcasm, great action scenes and believable special effects. Definitely not a 5 start rating but better than a 3, so a 4 star rating is about right. Get the popcorn and a beverage and enjoy the fun.

Not a bad movie overall. Characters are solid, and Margot Robbie is worth the purchase alone.

The film was ok, but Marvel seems to have better writing and character development.

I wasn't that impressed when I originally saw this movie at the drive-in, mainly because it is dark, not just psychologically but visually, so it was difficult to see a lot of the action. But watching again at home on our big screen it was much brighter so I was able to see everything that was happening to be able to get more out of the story and experience. Glad we bought it!

A team up of super villains to do some good in return for leniency in their jail sentences. Similar to a justice league team up but consisting of bad guys. Does not really live up to the potential of the DC extended universe but nevertheless has its moments in entertaining the DC fans with the villains they chose to portray and a few cameos of their super hero counterpart.

I’m torn about this movie, it’s a love hate feeling.i don’t love it and I don’t hate it

send it twice already. Get to know a little bit more about the Harley Quinn and this new Joker. Get the sea a quick scene with Ben Affleck. But other than that it's a good teamwork movie. When I first thought I was going to see the actual enemy was going to be somebody else but not one of the potential team members. Viola Davis is a bad-u- know what, LoL in this one though.
