A secret Government agency recruits imprisoned super villains to perform a dangerous mission to save the planet. They are the worst of the worst, but best at what they do in the criminal underworld. Great and funny performances from Will Smith as Deadshot and Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn.

Was excited for this movie while in theaters, but was as thrilled as I expected to be once it was done. It's not a terrible movie. The acting was good, the characters were decent, was just hoping for a bit more. The extended version shows a bunch more and helps some of the gaps though.

If you are a comics fan, I think you will like the movie. As with most DC movies, it started a little slow to build the back story, but all in all...a fine comic movie! I though most of the cast played their characters well. Especially, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Killer Croc, and El Diablo.

I was hoping that this would be the good step forward for the DCEU...or whatever they are calling it. After Man of Steel and Batman V Super Man....people were hoping for something that would set the ship right. Unfortunately Suicide Squad tried and did not meet the standards to do so. At times it felt all over the place and did not know what it wanted to do. Hearing about the rush job on the script, and then the studio getting involved...you can see where the issues presented themselves. Hopefully Wonder Woman is the film to give DC their own legs in the movie world. No one needs to compare them to Marvel, they just need to find their own voice....but they are running out of chances to keep audiences engaged. Obviously comic book fans will watch! But its the general public that needs to pull!

Will Smith is a standout as Deadshot, the gun range scene alone is an outstanding performance. Jared Leto has made the Joker a cringe worthy scary villain capable of doing anything to get what he wants....the rest of the cast has their moments of greatness as well. It is not your standard run of the mill superhero movie, definitely worth a watch,.

this movie is not for the younger crowd. If you are a DC fan it will be entertaining and enjoyable. It doesn't have the greatest main villain and has some cheesy moments but a good movie to watch to just get away. Margot Robbie and Will Smith are amazing as Harley Quinn and Deadshot!

I skipped watching Suicide Squad in the theatres as reviews seemed iffy? (And theatres aren't cheap) Anyways bought this so we could finally watch it and have to say we were not disappointed! It had a good mix of content and kept you entertained throughout the whole movie. I'm not a huge comic book fan but this movie is a must have in my book.

In an attempt to save the world from disaster, watch as Amanda Waller puts together the all star team of super villains from DC comics. Will they be able to save the world or will they cause more chaos and destruction. See if these villains can make the change towards becoming heroes.

So all the critics panned this movie. So What! I actually liked it. Oh you have some bad dialogue, overacted cast, and at times the movie is too dark to be able to watch it (bad lighting), but its a fun movie you can watch over and over again. Jared Leto is outrageous as Joker!!!

I went to go buy the plain jane DVD but the only copies left were the 4K Bluray bundle and this one. So glad! The comic was well done and I haven't read a comic in over 10 years. The packaging doesn't match traditional casing considering the Blurays are housed in the comic itself but a DVD copy is removable in a cardboard cover. Well worth it!

Suicide Squad [3d] [blu-ray] IS a good movie in 2d. Can't wait till i get to watch it in 3d! So sad that 3d is disappearing from vendor's offerings. I was so hoping to upgrade to a passive 3d 4k set in the near term! oh well, I'll have to be satisfied with1080p and active 3d glasses!

I rate my movies on if they are worth my time to see them. I don't have much free time so I try to pick movies that will entertain me. This one is very good in my opinion. I wish the Joker would have been in it more but overall I'm not disappointed in it like some people are. I got it on sale for $9.99 so it was a no brainer to purchase it!

It's a fun movie to watch. just remember to check the ego at the door along with what the critics say. movies are meant to be enjoyed and this is an enjoyable movie with a simple plot that is established in the first half hour, leaving the rest of the ride to the "fallout" category.

Didn't think I would like this movie but it turns out I think it is a REALLY good movie!! The difference between the standard bluray & 4K blu ray is night & day!! Love the 4K version a lot more!! The HDR really pops, especially in the last portion of the movie, definitely a buy!!

I am not a fan of DC comics turned movies of the last 15 years. I really enjoy this film for irreverent action, and enjoyable special effects. I do not know the comics in detail and therefore personally care not of the storyline related to source. I like this movie on its own merit.

I bought a bunch of 4K DVDs when I got a 4K system. Black Friday '21 had lots of 4K DVDs on sale. Was very worth it. Not lots of 4K content out there...so the 4K DVDs are a great way to test / appreciate the 4K system.

DC is finally getting into the movie-continuity act, following the success of the Marvel movies. By itself, this movie isn't great, but if you view in the context of it mainly being an introduction to Harley Quinn, Deadshot, and the other members of the suicide squad it works.

I saw Suicide Squad in theaters; and while it is definitely not the best movie (and cannot even be compared to the wonderful things happening in Marvel Studios), it's nice adding this to my collection. Great special features; and we finally get to see more of Jared Leto as the Joker

So the Blu-ray has additional scenes and that is why you should purchase it, if you want more content with the relationship between Harley Quinn and the Joker. The scenes don't add much to the overall film so if you enjoyed the original cut then you'll enjoy the extended version.

Entertaining film overall, honestly Jared Leto's Joker is just ok. I don't care much for the overall look and style of the character in this film. But Will Smith and Margot Robbie both deliver stand out performances as expected. Too bad tom hardy didn't get to play Rick Flagg.
